  1. Haven't tried towing yet, but the car is very stable. Its fairly heavy so towing should be good. Wouldn't want to tow horse floats or anything like that. I had a VR4 before this, but that was a pretty quick. The RS-FOUR V (25DET) is absolutely stock so not as fast as my VR4. Just looking for more HP, exhaust and intake. Really pleased with the car though, very comfortable, handles well, wife likes to drive it though . The best thing about it is that the cops have NO IDEA (in Victoria anyway), so hope they leave me alone (some of the hassles people have with Skylines leave me cold).
  2. HELP!! A question to the Stagea gurus out there. I have just got a RS-FOUR, in perfect condition. The RS-260 was out of the question due to price, but one of the reasons I went for the RS-FOUR was a theory that a proportion of the parts would be interchangable with the RS-FOUR (this may be completely off the mark ) If anyone knows of an RS-260 wrecking, I would be interested eg Front mount intercooler (I know the piping may be unusable, but the cooler should fit nicely ??) Front/Rear struts - springs Front brakes/calipers Dream list RB26DETT - how hard to fit onto auto ?? I just want to get an RS-260 handling/braking and some more power without paying out mega $$$$ (dont we all !!) Many thanks for this great site - well done all You can pm me - [email protected]

  6. This is the RS-FOUR V, NOT the RS-260 (Unfortunately). Also, this is the interior fuses only. I think the 4WD fuses are under the bonnet.

  9. Got a 1996 RS-FOUR V with interior lights not working. I've uploaded a png file and a word doc for someone to fill in, if they have time. I'll work out the interior lights one, but being a stickler for completeness, if we can fill in the rest of the blanks, we can add it to the FAQ
  10. Getting the RS-FOUR V soon (not an 260RS), and I'm excited. Price and domestic issues (auto) remain high priority. Brake upgrades and exhaust intake upgrades REAL SOON. Brakes - can I please have some advice on the best approach (other than the brembos off the 260) Exhaust : Can I get hold of a dump pipe for the RS-FOUR V (Dec 96 model), where and cost ?? Intake: Recommend filter as well please

All some advice here please :wassup: Getting a Stagea 25tRS-FOUR V (yes I know the auto, but not all of us can afford the 260RS) The engines the 25DET, does anybody have details of the turbo (ceramic or not ??) and what sort of maximum boost levels I can run without screwing the turbo or ping (used to have a VR4 and that ran 18lb no probs) Once I get it complianced and registered, I would like to do the std turbo things 1 - 3" mandrel exhaust, high flowed cat 2 - dump pipe from turbo 3 - decent intercooler 4 - decent boost controller - any suggestions guys/gals ??
  12. Looking VERY SERIOUSLY for a good stagea, If RAZZ is online, I would really like his comments. Post Aug 98 Model 25t RS-FOUR V Auto (yeah, I know, but wife wants to drive it as well) Due to compliance, I want NO MODS (even needs stock factory wheels - dont you love DOTARS !!) How common are the LSD's on the Auto's ?? What is the "PRIME" model that was discussed in this thread? Can anybody recommend a good broker to deal with Many thanks all to this really great site!!
