Got my self the DRIVING FORCE Steering wheel pac for me PS-2... What a difference it made to my drift career in GT-3.. Better than in my own car on the road.. Cheaper on tyres too..

I have been thinking about this whole scenario.. I know the good old 'line is the schweetest looking car around to date.. With in reason.. And i will probably regret it, but i will still have the ambition of wanting the GTR (even if i have to wait til the 34 is 30 years old with 300,000km's on the clock, selling for $1,000) I wish. I spoke to a few people today, and i reakon i will also consider the S-14 as an option also... Seems to have the same comforts inside, and has got good a healthy weight as well as the good old SR under the hood.. And it is still RWD :burnout: I know alot of you know what io mean... And they are good value too now.. Thanks for your input guys.. Will let you know what i end up doing though.. Either way i wont be leavin the skylinesaustralia forums.....

Jase: This is my eventual goal, to one day own a 33/32 GTR .... GT-Rmgedon: Well here is a quick run down on what i got/done to date to me 33.. FMIC, Modified Inlet Manifold (t-Body to front), Turbo back exhaust, Pod filter, H/Duty clutch... Next steps would be to do ECU (PFC or likes), Turbo, Fuel sysytem... Bottom line is it is not FAST ENOUGH :burnout: .... You must admit though the 33 has a awesome shape/look and will be hard to beat in this area.. The GSR on the other hand with a bit of a kit (EVO III Style) does have a reasonable look.. But does seem to provide better bang for buck performance wise, with the common 2.0L engine swap, cooler, turbo, management gets them a 12 sec slip with little effort.. opposed to the larger 33. I am still undecided.. I love my 33, but i have, i guess youd call it a need for speed.... (and more money to spend on a damn car) Thanks for replying to guys.. Its appreciated..

The thought has crossed my mind to sell my 33 GTS-t as i am wanting to buy something faster... Thinking of a GSR Lancer 4WD with all the EVO running gear etc.. in it.. Runs a mid - low 12... But i have been doin some thinkin and may be should perhaps keep my 33 and put in the difference in buying the GSR... approx $7k.... Do you think this budget should see me around the same et's as GSR?? Considering all i will need to do is turbo, management, fuel system, i can get parts made/fabricated etc.. Got cooler, exhaust etc.. What do you all think, i am sure there are more other people out there in the same sort of predicament as i am?? Let me know your thoughts..

The Dyno showed my something about my GTR today....
Sil8ty replied to JUN R33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
You let them power run with mixtures like that... Damn... I would be checking fuel system for faults or try fitting a std ECU back in it.. With some decent mixtures that should be close, if not over 200kWs at wheels.. -
XEQTOR: I fixed the idle of my car today.. Try adjusting the Idle control motor.. (at the back of the inlet manifold). Mine was hunting and carrying on.. Screwed it out slightly and it cleared itself up.. Now it is just like it was originally.. Hope this helps you out...

Fitted my own modified inlet manifold ......
Sil8ty replied to Sil8ty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah i get ya.. Car is no extreme machine, only FMIC, Turboback exhaust, filter, Bit of extra boost, Cold Air Partion, Timing adv.. Should still be okay.. Was really rich before fitting the cooler.... Thanks every one for feed back, will hopefully have pix of it tomorrow.. -
They have gone a bit different in the rear section of the car hey.. What can you say... NICE!!!!!!!!!!! The dude should have taken them for a test drive

Fitted my own modified inlet manifold ......
Sil8ty replied to Sil8ty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
But wouldn't you say less pressure in back cylinder may represent less air flow?? Do ya think Sydneykid getting it on a dyno and do individual cylinder temp tests this should give an indication (MAYBE) on cylinders suffereing in higher exhaust temps??? Will take note of it.. If any thing i may have thought the #1 cylinder may not get much air as it needs to do a 90+ degree turn to get to it... So far so good...... This is all a touch subject.. I have seen many posts on this subject.. -
BOV for a R33 GTST fit a R32 GTST???
Sil8ty replied to BryanB's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
They positions are different hey, the R-33 stock bov is mounted straight onto pipe (lying on its side).. R-32 is mounted on a flange standing the BOV up, so to speak.. But the flange is very similar.. Depends what type of valve it is, it may still fit.. -
RichyR32GTR: tried all that, have spoken to a few reputable people/workshops about this.. Tried resetting Computer, no go...... Got told to try fitting the gauze in after the filter to see if it MAY fix my problem, as it is possible that different filter designs alter the way air flows into the A/F meter (mine is the APEXi Power Intake filter) As it never did this prior to removing the gauze out of the A/F meter.. I did notice a fair increase in boos though.. Will keep you posted to how it goes....
