From July 1st all imports must go through dickson motor registry, they are cracking down pretty hard at the moment and recalling imports back again to make sure they stay "roadworthy"

Dickson assured me it was all possible to get so i will ring a few compliance companies and nissan and see what can be done,

I went through the pits at dickson today and i got knocked back due to not having an "engine tune up sticker" also for not having an english owners manual and i need all the japanese stickers replaced with english stickers. Does anyone know where to get a tyre placard in english for the r32 gtr? They also asked for me to provide stock track measurements from nissan

Swapped out my adjustable caster rods and camber arms to replace with stock ones. Raised car to 110mm at the lowest point for vehicle inspection smaller exhaust hangers to raise exhaust 5mm Installed child restraint anchors Degreased/washed ender side of car installed OEM looking gear knob Removed Power FC Hand controller Removed rear wiper/motor and replaced with MFR delete plug Hopefully thats everything to pass Dickson

Thanks a heap but i actually just borrowed Robs R32 gtst wheels and they Rub slightly on the front brakes nissan logo of a GTR. i believe gtst wheels are 16x6.5 +40 and GTR wheels are 16x8 +30. Thanks

I have a vehicle inspection at dickson on monday morning so Has anybody got a set of standard R32 GTR wheels they are willing to lend/hire out? I have a Diff back rego exhaust to suit R32 GTR with 3 bolt flange if anybody needs to borrow it

Today i rebuilt the often intermittent R32 headlight switch. I Basically just pulled it all apart and sanded all the contact points, tested it out and it still did not work. So i pulled it apart and had a closer look at how the switch worked, everything seemed to be fine. However i thought it was worth trying to put more pressure on the contact points by stretching the spring mechanism about 1.5mm and it did the trick and now both headlights work. The 3 black points have little springs under them that can be stretched to make the contact strong and also gives the switch a much better feel. Also took the car out to check tire pressures

I Pulled off the glass weather strip/guide and found out just how worn the pads are. Has anybody done a DIY replacement on these?
