Pedders Extreme X Coilovers To Fit R33 Gts-T
Dajae replied to RJ06's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey mate, What do these retail for? They seem like a decent looking coilover. You said they were non-camber adjustable, that's not stopping me from putting them on my car if my car is already fitted with camber adjustment gear is it? -
Quakers Hill Storage Sale Pt 2
Dajae replied to DoLphiN's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey mate, do you have specs on the greddy turbo timer? Google is being a little unhelpful at the moment.. -
Its tempting to get this off you, and then buy a rb26dett manifold... To go on my rb25 Lol. No seriously though. If you have a manifold to go with it ..?

Hypergear Tr43I Turbo Set Up
Dajae replied to woods's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey mate, Thanks for the response! Cool, thanks for the extra info. How did you find the setup on the RB20 around the track? What sort of boost response did you have? I'm pretty keen, but I'm currently waiting for funds to clear my account. Until then my hands are a little tied lol. Looking to upsize from my GTRS, and from what I've read about this turbo, it should be able to see me close to 300rwkw. Oh yeah, do you know what size the exhaust housing is? As from memory this turbo is available with a few different sizing options.. Thanks again. -
Hypergear Tr43I Turbo Set Up
Dajae replied to woods's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey, quite interested in the turbo setup. Any other details you can tell? How many K's has this setup had? Is the turbo unit itself still in good shape? Manifold have any cracks/leaks? What brand is the wastegate? What size spring do you have in it? Are you including the intake pipe with the sale aswell? What size is the dump/front pipe? Does it match up to the standard cat position, or is it suited to an aftermarket exhaust system? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks ! Best regards, Ty -
All good, thanks mate! Best regards, Ty

Howdy all! Looking for rb25det heads, doesnt matter from what series, as I'm fairly certain they're a straight swap into my series 1. Good condition, working, and complete parts preferred. Stock, mild port/polish, heavy port/polish + aftermarket goodies, doesnt matter, need a good quality head ASAP. Located in Sydney, pick up local or shipping, doesnt bother me.. Will cover expenses. Please PM with any info, and thanks for reading Best regards, Ty

Hey mate, Just wondering if this is still for sale? And if so, would you be willing to organise shipping (not cover the costs)? Just up to sydney. Best regards, Ty

Hey mate! Talk about luck coming across this! The first and most serious question... Still for sale? *fingers crossed* Best regards, Ty Edit: I just noticed you had 'buckets' in your first post. Now, might be a little n00bie right here, but I thought buckets were usually associated with solid lifters, not hydraulic lifters like in the rb25det head? Or am I just slightly misguided?

Hey thanks for the reply In the near or distant future, I want to retire the car to a weekend/occasional drag/track car. What turbo? Haha, its funny you should ask that. I was intent on going down the GTX3582 route, but after seeing Simon's Kando Dynamics Turbo thread, it changed my mind.. And now I'm also looking at BW turbo's. In terms of brand, no idea anymore but, as long as the turbo has the potential to flow 600 - 800hp worth of air, then I'm happy. And all on 98. After doing a little research, it seems as though the rb26dett internals could be an cheaper alternative, as they're supposedly good for upto 400rwkw? From what I can gather, anyway. As for the head.. Ive done quite a bit of googling and come up with some good results. For a full head of Ferrea/Tomei/SuperTech goodies, I'd be looking at costs around the 2.5K - 3K mark. But, after some further reading, it appears as though labour on top of that, I'd be looking at around 5K.. That sound about right?

Rb25det Race Engine Unfinished
Dajae replied to Driftking_1's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey mate, Couple of questions for you. First, still for sale? If so, is your asking price of $15K still firm, or are you willing to negotiate? Secondly, I'm interested in the head. Only I'm not sure if its a straight swap onto a series 1 block .. Anyway, very interested . Let me know Best regards, Ty -
Howdy! Sorry about the double post, I couldnt find 'edit post' button anywhere?! Lol. Anyway, so, by the looks of it my heads are screwed. Super sloppy valves and what sounds like shafted springs and lifters. Its not all bad though, as I'm now looking at a head full of Tomei valve train gear + some nice cams. Leads me to my next couple of questions, if anyone can help Ok so first, is it possible to buy aftermarket valves for rb25det heads? Or will I simply have to get new heads? (I'm talking about the actual little trumpet shaped thing that goes up and down, lol) Second, how much would some mild porting set me back? Andddd while I'm asking all these questions, might as well keep going.. Engine rebuild. Parts aside, what sort of costs would I be looking at from start to finish? Including all the tid bits like chemical cleaning, etc. Unfortunately I dont have the know-how to do any of that myself (let alone the correct tools), and nor do I have any contacts which could possibly help in the matter. So I'm looking for worst case scenario? I've tried searching for an answer in the forums, but havent come across any worthwhile answers.. Perhaps I search for the wrong thing? Either way, thanks for reading Best regards, Ty.

Few days ago, Carlisle ave, just up from the Luxford rd traffic lights. heading away from GWH . Black R33 gts-t, female driving . I've seen you before on GWH, St Clair/St Marys, but a male was driving . Guessing its your partner? Either way, nice car.. And no, I wasnt attempting to race you, I was running a little late to see a lady friend, so my acceleration rate was a little... 'quicker' . Lol.

Howdy everyone ! Im hoping someone can help me, or atleast point me in the right direction. Saturday night I went out for a drive, went around a corner.. And then I noticed a strange sound . It would only happen (at first) under acceleration, and the knock sensor on the PFC hand controller started going crazy. The sound which unfortunately goes along with this, is like extremely noisy lifters. That same night, I checked the oil, but I have a feeling I didnt get an accurate reading. It seemed quite low. I figure the low oil could be contributing to the "noisy lifters", but that doesnt explain why my knock sensor is reading EXTREMELY high.. And the weirdest part, is it only does it (to the bad degree) when decellerating, or when the throttle is only partially opened. Fuel is not the issue, as I had used nearly 1/2 of the tank of Boost98 without any knock issue. Just as a comparison, even under WOT under high load, the knock sensor rarely budges over 20 - 30 . Normal driving conditions, its lucky to see over 10. So there you have it any ideas? Comments? Questions? Absolutely anything would be appreciated Best regards, Ty

Thanks for the responses to my questions/comments I didnt actually realise the T67 wasnt a Twin Scroll turbo, but I do know the fact that you need to have both turbo/manifold as twin scroll items. Well, it seems I'll have to go with the T67 regardless, as my previous 'budget' just got hammered due to a family member requiring medical bills paid. Oh well. So, just to clarify, the T67 or the SH should both be 300+rwkw quite easily? With supporting mods? I think I got that part right Stupid laptop wont let me look at ebay... Why oh why ..

Hi End Wheel Sale - Redux
Dajae replied to ironpaw's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Few quick questions First, do you know if the Advan's are at all paintable ? I love the rim, but the colour isnt really 'my thing' lol. Secondly, how much of a rush to sell the last set of rims? -
Appreciate the input However, as I stated a little earlier in the thread, E85 is basically a no-go here in Sydney. I havent actually heard of *any* servo's which have it. So that puts that out of the question. 3L bottom .. Thats an option, but its not an option I'm wanting to take anytime soon. Unfortunately my funds dont allow for such I dont think I'm asking too much; I've also seen many RB25's that punch out similar numbers to what I'm after, and the response which they have is fairly acceptable for me. Somewhere between 330rwkw - 375rwkw, IMO, isnt all that much. Sure I might not start hitting the boost sweet spot until 4000rpm, but thats what I'm willing to accept. Dont mean any disrespect, but I think for what I'm after, and what I'm willing to "put up with", its not too much to ask of Suzie

Was that the T67 with the 10cm housing, or the higher rated 12cm housing? Surely these turbos would be able to push a bit more boost than that efficiently? (taking into account the fact that all necessary knock-reducing parts have been used..) *sigh*
-
Lmao. I might've already missed it; but has anyone seen or have a compressor map for the T67? It'd give a rough idea of the upper limits of boost it could run efficiently, then maybe pushing 2 Bar could be enough? The GTX3582R would be very tasty to have; but last night I started to have second thoughts on it. Perhaps its being a little too excessive lol. Maybe a T67 with the 12cm housing could push over 350rwkw? Guess I'll have to take the plunge and find out haha.
-
Could a reasonable guess-tamation be that figure, minus 7% - 10%? as the difference between 98 and E85 (from the results I've seen anyway..) have generally been no more than 10%.

Gtx3076R Vrs Gt3076R.. A True Comparison.
Dajae replied to Simon-S14's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What gear is that in? And is that dyno, or real driving experience? Just curious because thats quite a quick spool for 3076 from what I know.. I think if every last rpm of response is a necessity, and money isnt really an issue, then sure... Any of the GTX variants would be awesome. Some of the results the Evo guys are getting over there in the USA are quite impressive; and thats on 95! But otherwise the comparable 'standard' GT turbos will suit any purpose just as well. Awesome results though; I personally expected the GTX to be a little more impressive. Especially considering the hype that it received.. But, somehow, I can't justify spending the extra cash on a turbo which isn't really that much more..... better. A larger GTX perhaps. -
I just went back and had a look; seems I did miss it .. Getting slack in my old age (lol.) Fair enough, I was just under the impression that 300rwkw - 330rwkw was heading towards its limit on 98. Might have to go back through the thread and do a bit more reading And I guess the extra $2k saved can go elsewhere.. Like maybe a spare T67 when it decides to throw a turbine wheel out the exhaust ; just kidding.
