  1. Hey guys, In response to the guy a few posts up, sorry I dont have the Air con Grills, Outside Surround Piece or the mechanicals your after, just the stuff I have listed (they are spares from my old R32) Dont have anymore R33 parts either, they have all been privately sold. I still have the R32 Steering wheel, so if anyone is interested. Ive also sold lots of small miscellaneous piece
  2. Yea, It's amazing how many small things they changed over the years, and the variations of the material and colours. I think the suede material for my seats matches the door trims and carpet perfectly. I do see what he meant about the series 1 / series 2 steering wheel. I remember ages ago seeing an OLD steering wheel which came on the R32, it looks aweful, I think it might have come only on the GTS version (it looks really boxy and old compared to the series 1/2 shown here, I remember seeing it somewhere on the forum which it outlined all of the optional extras) Absolute pain getting a steering wheel, gearknob and handbrake in the same material without being worn to oblivion or swapped with a cheap version from Repco or Supercheap. Would be great to keep the R32 forever, but I would like to get something slightly newer to accommodate a family eventually (but still sporty looking).
  3. Awesome stuff thanks for the info. Hope you like the bulb info for your dash surround and climate control unit I sent you
  4. Awesome stuff thanks for the info. Hope you like the bulb info for your dash surround and climate control unit I sent you
  5. Thanks for the contact mate, good to hear from you. ill talk with you on private messages. Still would be good if anyone here has a type M bar, or a regular GTST bar in good nick.
  6. Hey Mate, Thanks for the input, its good to see some honest thoughts. Yea, the front bar for some reason looks slightly differnt to most GTS-T's, very strange, I have no clue what the previous owner was thinking. Also, the steering wheel is a series 2 wheel, with a series 2 horn. The GTS-T and the GTR (series 2), are identical, except one comes with a 'S' emblem and the other the 'GTR' leather one, lol. It was a bitch to find one in excellent condition, so I cant be picky! Yea, the kneepads are good, also have the outside small rainguards on the windows (no in the pic) and some of the other 'optional' extras (which I had them all, I want the boot - towel rack!) Yea, the same rules in NSW for P-platers with Turbos, and most full license drivers will want a bigger / faster car, but I am sure the quality of mine will win someone over eventually, considering its a really honest and great car. Ill message you about bulbs later, as I actually do have info for you
  7. Thanks for the reply. wouldnt be selling it for another 6 months because i would need to get another 5 or 6k for the difference between the cost of the 32 and 34.
  8. Hey guys, sorry about the lag in replying. The rims themselves are multistud, fitting the 4 x 100 and 4 x 113.3 Patterns, I incorrectly labelled them before as 4/5's, these are only 4's. They are 17 inches wide with low profile tyres. I am looking for $150 firm for them. I paid well over $1000 for them and I honestly would rather get $20 from a scrap yard then give someone a 'bargain' set of rims for a silly amount like $50.
  9. Thanks anyway, but I would rather see them turned into scrap.
  10. I think I might put my car up for sale in the selling whole cars section. To see if I will get what I want, worse comes to worse I keep it really. No harm.
  11. Good man, thanks for that! regards
  12. Hey Mate, dont have both any more, just have the passengers side one left
  13. Ok, off to the scrap yard they go, tired of having them at my place
  14. Hey Mate, Thanks for that, ill do that when I remove the dash to put in LED's, once this is done hopefully it shouldnt be an issue anymore. Does anywhere else sell that stuff? Can I get it at a hardware place? How much does it cost?
  15. Hey Guys, I am after an R32 GTST front bar to replace my front bar. I am after either the standard GTST front bar, or the GTST - Type M. I have attached pics of both as a reference. One is a GTST-Type M, the other is the GTST variant. I am after a bar that is in great shape, with no cracks or tears. Im open for negotions to how much the bar itself costs, but I will pay higher for a bar that is either: in excellent shape, the gun metal gray colour, or is type M bar I will pay a good amount for a standard GTST bar in good condition I will pay slightly higher for a standard GTST Bar in gun metal gray in good condition I will pay even more for a GTST - Type M bar, as long as it is in good condition Finally, I will pay quite a lot for a GTST - Type M bar in Gun Metal Gray, in good condition I'm near the Fairfield area, and will travel to pick it up, or will arange posting at my expense. If anyone has one let me know playboi14@hotmail.com
  16. Thanks for all of the input. True, it is what I make of it, just would like a R34. will have to either wait and save up or sell it now as is, not in a rush through so ill keep it unit / if I sell it. Thanks guys:P
  17. Thanks for the input guys! Amazing, just bought that one and its apparently a dud lol. Ill have to put up with it I guess. Any type of greese or lube I should use between the speedo and the speedo cable?
  18. Hey thanks guys for all of the input. its much appreciated :-) yea i think around at bare min i would take 8.5 for it. else ill just keep it. Spent over 13k for the car plus upgrades so anything less is too much of a loss. I really want an r34 or s15 since they are newer and would generally require less work overall in the long run. Considering i would keep it for at least 5 years. i want to put leather in my car and do all of those nice things but on an older car you can necer get the value of it back. Again great input guys. ill most likley offer it at a higher price and drop down if needed. if it doesnt sell well who cares :-)
  19. Thanks for the heads up and the help in my other topic too!. Yea I have receipts for every single item and service done to the car, and although I don't expect my car to make what I have spent on it, I would like something near or below the 10k mark, probably wont ever sell, but if it doesnt ill just stick with it. Its good to see everyone's opinions as I really couldn't find any R32's in the same condition as my car.
  20. Thanks again mate, That's probably a good idea. I just want something that is genuine and not hiding some massive fault or accident. Is there any real point into buying one from a dealership, or getting it imported? From my understanding its cheaper to buy them from Japan, but getting it imported, converted to fit out spec and then repairs are a nightmare would you know anything about that? Regards
  21. Hey Guys, I've been thinking recently of selling my R32 GTS-T and purchasing either a R34 or S15. So I've been looking around at Carsales, Ebay and other sites looking to find a car thats similar to mine so I can gauge how much I could sell mine for. But I really couldn't find one that is in the same condition as mine. I've listed info about my car below, and attached some pics of it. Would be good to see what people think Model: Nissan Skyline R32 - GTS-T Body: Coupe 2 Door Colour: Gun Metal Gray Year: 1993 KMs: 127,000 Overall I have tried to keep the car standard, and to make sure everything looks and feels great. That being said, I've spent thousands on making the interior, exterior and engine like new, ill list the major improvements that I have done. INTERIOR Everything including all of the lettering and symbols on the control instruments are perfect, Brand new R32 gearknob (no wear marks) Brand new R32 Steering wheel (Took an absolute age to find one that wasnt ripped, torn or worn out). it has 3 x 1mm scratches on the right hand side Both door panels are immaculate, no scratches, man made holes for tweaters, rips or tears on the vinyl, and the speaker pocket is flawless (no scratches or wear, with the original lettering on the cover still) All of the interior material on the front / rear door trims are perfect, the material itself is flawless and the glue holding it is still strong. Rear seats are next to new (never had anyone in the back) and the front two seats are great (however the drivers side material is starting to get a little worn on the side, I think this is just age though) Added brand new leather pieces to replace the old shitty ones, got a new gearknob cover, handbrake cover, arm rest cover and the front door inserts (not the top section, but the bottom section which is normally a gray material) All of the pieces fit perfectly and there are no seam marks Dash is brand new, no bubbles, marks or 'vein lines', never had any gauges stuffed into the aircon vents (replaced all 4 vents when I replaced the dash) The Speedo, Climate control and dash surround control units have all had their bulbs replaced with LED's (white led's replacing the old standard ones, and coloured ones to replace the coloured ones, for example replaced the 'heat up' button on the climate control with a red LED) Replaced the main interior light, two pod lights, glovebox light, boot light with the brighest and whitest LED's EXTERIOR Added type M rear pods to the back, professionally painted to match and installed Complete respray of the left hand side of the car (as it was faded on that side only) Replaced the front left, front right and bonnet badges, as they were old Removed the 'Nissan' and 'GTST' sticker on the boot, and replaced them with chrome badges Brand new door seals all round, multiple new rubers and other seals, replaced lots of smaller stuff Added R33 GTS-T Rims, all in immaculate condition, except for one which has a small 2cm long scratch on the side, looks like someone nudged a gutter, tryes are brand new Replaced old front small indicators (orange ones) with clear ones. Fitter and installed professionally Replaced old front corner indicators (the front orange ones) with clear smoked ones. (added today, not on picture), smoked the front headlights so that they colour match 100% with the indicators. Dark tinting on the sides and rear, with a dark sunstrip on the front MECHANICAL Removed aftermarket pod filter set-up and replaced it with a standard R32 Air Box (with snorkel) Removed aftermarket chrome piping and other silly shit, replaced with standard pipes and connectors (the standard ones are actually in better shape) Installed 6 new individual coilpacks brand new coilpack wiring loom Front strutbrace added Pretty much all of the rubber pipes have been replaced Aircon system checked, no leaks +regassed Brand new aircon condenser When removing dash and other parts, there was light surface rust. Every metal component was removed, sanded back, painted and then put back changed multiple smaller components, such as the windscreen wiper motors, various clips and plugs such as the clip that holds the bonnet arm. Fitted fully adjustable coilover suspension (sits about 16cm from the ground, and about 14cm from the lowest point to the ground), you can still drive straight over massive bumps without scraping. replaced back and front sway bar bushes (new nolathane ones) new front and back rotors, new front and back brakes replaced airflow meter and igniter Overall I just tried to make the car as stock as possible, while keeping a few elements that make it more modern (such as clear indicators). I didn't add any real silly after market parts and pretty much every panel and interior part is amazing. Also I think (but I can't be sure) that it might have had an accident in the left rear quarter as when I removed the back rear inside panel it looked to be slightly different to the right hand side, and 2 of the clips didnt line up 100%. But it drives perfectly fine. The only negatives I feel is that the front bar looks bar (scratches from a previous owner where I think he had really low suspension) and also a small 3.5cm scratch on the back left hand side. If anyone reads this and has any thoughts, it would be great to get some feedback, as I would like to determine if its even worth selling it because of the shear amount of money I've sunk into it Thanks guys!!
  22. Thanks for the heads up mate. Anything around the 1998,1999 or 2000 range would be great as I am just after something that hasn't been through many Km's (as I dont want to have to replace seats, belts, handbrakes and all manor of other shit that gets worn out) I searched on Carsales, and there seems to be lots in the 12k - 14k region. What should I be expecting to get for around 18K? Thanks for the advice, I'm open to hearing what anyone has to say for input
  23. Hey Guys, A while back I had to replace my speedo cable as the small white connector that's part of the cable broke off. I replaced the speedo cable with another, and it now works, however when I am driving the speedo needle itself shakes as it is rising or declining. As in, when I am accelerating from 10 - 30km, the speedo needle itself will shake back and forth. It still works, and shows me the speed I am going, however its just really weird that its not a smooth flow anymore. Does anyone know what might be happening? I'm quite sure I put it in correctly and that its connected right as everything lined up. Did I need to add additional grease or lubricant onto the end of the speedo cable before I attached it? Any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
  24. Hey guys, also selling these pieces, most of them belong to my dash surround. All of the controls themselves are in immaculate condition, with the letters and writing intact. I am selling each piece separately as I don't have one of the control units (Light switch) any more so cant sell it complete. I am selling them at the following prices: Dash Surround: $35 Radio / Emergency Button: $15 Fog Lights / Rear Heater Button: $15 Windscreen wiper turn knob: $10 Windscreen wiper coverplate: $10 (immaculate condition, lettering is flawless) Windscreen wiper covercap button: $10 Rear sealtbelt cover plastic: $5 regards
  25. Hey Guys, I'm interested in selling my R32 onwards and getting an R34 GT-T. I'm just after some information on exactly what I should be looking for, any particular issues or faults with the R34, and generally just any information which I should know when I am hunting around to find one. I am after a regular R34, with very minimal mods and preferably standard, around the 2000 year manufactured mark, would be great if it was a 2 door model with the semi-tiptronic shifter Any information would be greatly appreciated guy! Regards,
