  3. Had my l2 20g off last weekend to weld an elbow to the outlet, mine didnt seem to have the cracks in the exh wheel like the 67s. Turbo hasnt done too much work, but it still looks and feels brand new with the housings off. Couldn't be happier (well i could if the car was still registered and i wasnt goin to court)

  5. i dont have temp reading for intake charge Roy, but the hot side inter cooler piping was very hot to touch. The cooler must be a pretty old type, that im guessing is discontinued. I havnt seen another one like it, and came on the car when i bought it. Who knows could be a fake. Just has large Trust logo on the face of it. It seem to do a good job as the outlet charge pipes were much cooler than the inlet side.

  7. i did notice that the intake charge was getting rather hot at the last track day (well very hot), wouldn't want to run that much boost on 98.

  14. umm might have an oil feed lying around sum ware, and a couple of banjo bolts that i could throw in if that helps
  15. wtf our bays look almost identical dori, down to the way ive cut the standard heatsheilds, the matt black charge pipe and intake. only exception is for your gate pipe angle and coil pack colour. fwark even my user name is the same as urs.
  16. mine only seems to serge if you load it up in too high of a gear for the rpm ( say WOT from 2.5k in 3rd or 4th gear) . It also did it whilst tuning down low as the runs are done in 4th. Never surges on the road boosting through the gears (should say spinning through the gears lol), unless you do it on purpose. So just a touch up tune with vct enabled will probably eliminate the problem. Anti surge sound tough tho. I love this turbo set up, best fun iv had in a car, comes on bloody hard. Very nice results for 98

  18. although power and torque was dropping of after around 6k, which Trent thinks was a manifold restriction.
  19. Dori34 i doubt it is your manifold.I got mine tuned last weekend and was worried the manifold was going to cause turbulence problems. My whole top half of the splitter is gone. Silly me put the 20psi spring combo in my gate assuming it might just run under the target pressure(so i can use boost controller to up the pressure 1-2 psi and ramp boost up abit quicker) but ended up going to 22psi in the top end. the least power it could make was 300atw with very minimal timing and fat AFRs. That is on caltex eflex though. going to see Trent this w.e for a touch up and il ask for a dyno print out and il post them up.
