wanted Bathurst GTR video clip
gtstcruiser67 replied to D1RFTA's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
I don't have any footage of GTR's,but I do have handycam footage of the last two Bathurst 24hr events and some of Lemans 24hr 2004 which I have made into short movies if poeple are interested. Le mans was cool as I evaded security, cut through some paddock's to watch prototypes sceaming past at 340km/h plus. I have around an 1hr footage and can supply on a disc for $5+postage. I will send out a sample from the dvd via email. If you like it you can buy the full dvd. -

A1 Grand Prix At Eastern Creak
gtstcruiser67 replied to igor's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
I'm heading to turn one. It is the best spot as you can see plenty of the track from the top of the hill and can avoid the sun later in the day. I was at a recent historic meet at EC watching a '84 twin turbo F1 Ferrari trash the field (which will be there this weekend) from turn 1. It is only one of two places where at the fence, you are at eye level with car's. They should be hitting around 260km/h though T1 along with sound resinating off the hill will create a pretty cool location to watch the race. I started a thread for a cruise to the race. If your interested go to http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=93102 -

Keep an eye on www.bathurst24hr.com.au for news on the return of the event in 2006. From what I have been told on good authority, is the event looks like it will be back with GTR skylines eligble to run along with a host of other exoticts.

Finally been spotted! We ended up in Wollombi for a bite to eat then headed back to Sydney. We saw emergency vehicles fly through Wollombi later discovering that we had missed a bike accident by literally minutes on the way there. It was around the bends after the observatory. See you around -
If anyone is keen on cruising tonight, Im heading out from Olympic Park at 8pm, then windsor, then either over to Gosford or to Katoomba then back home. Im showing a mate around in the line, so if your interested let me know. Im contacted on 0412397177

Deepest condolences to all the famiy and friends. I meet the parents at the Gosford show and shine this year as I was involved in the event and parked beside them for the day. They are very descent, hard working people that will need the support of everyone around them in this darkest hour. With all respect -

Kangaroo valley route via Nowra rd is an impressive piece of road then over to Illawarra rd for the Macquarie Pass run. These hill climbs are in good condition, well marked with great views if your out for a day cruise. There are plenty of spots to enjoy in the area outside of driving. The roads between these hill climbs are dangerous with dips, bumps, blind crests, tree lined, so proceed with caution. I simply had a bad feeling when I was driving on them. Mabey all the crosses on the tree's had something to do with it. If driving at night watch out for WOMBATS, they are everywhere. We have seen up to 10 in 90 min of driving, all alive and well wandering across the road or on the side of the road ready for a wander. I find the royal national park too hard on the car and steer clear of it. I will head up to Bells Line of Road soon to see what its all about. Anybody have a review on this piece of road?
