  2. I'm going for a cruise wednesday night which will be the southern loop. Starting point is 7.30ish atMc Donalds at Olympic park, head down to Engadine McDonalds for anyone down south, over to Liverpool, then to the 'gong', back through the National Park, cbd and back home. If anyone wants to meet up on the way, let us know and we will work it into the run. Hope to see a few drivers out there Steve
  3. Another contact is Racebrakes at Wetherill Park Sydney. They have disc's and own brand brand pads and most important, competitive pricing. The pads are rated at 640C. Great value and service. Thanks to the guys at Powerplay for pointing me in the right direction regarding this and other tuning issues. Powerplay also supply these items at competitive prices.

  9. There's a socket specific for removing sensor's.It has a groove up the side of it to allow for the wiring. An auto electrician or mechanic should be able to help out.

  11. I was in a rush last night, so I didn't go into much detail. Firstly, thanks for the feedback. To answer your questions I'm not into cruising the city all that much, as I prefer getting out in the country air. Yes 350km is a fair run, but if you like 'driving', you will enjoy and when you break it up with stops, it's not that long. It's broken up into a couple of sections, where we can stop & have a break, a beer, etc . The run is up to the coast, then inland, coming back through Penrith way, onto the M4 back home. I will explain more before we leave. This is a public forum, so I will keep it brief for my own reasons. Yes it is vague, but it's not an event. I'm going for a run with some friends and decided to invite people along. When I do organise an event, there will be more notice. If you have something in mind, let me know. Note: If it's raining we are not going.We may go on Sunday afternoon instead

  15. I went searching online a few nights ago & came up with nothing. I can only guess it's one of only a few out here(in oz),with mainly cosmetic changes. None the less, it is a sweet looking car & goes as well as it looks.I may make it to the show & shine at Mingara on 28th, and may be able to sort this mystery out. Thanks for your input
  16. Thanks for the advice. It's always a sigh of relief when here good news that all is fine. I had a closer inspection of the manual & found the heat periameters for the display unit. I'm looking at upping the boost soon a few pound. I'm after 260rkw from which I'm told is quite easy with my current set up. I'm having it sorted through a shop to avoid any expensive mishaps, fuel rate being the key factor. I will be looking at the apexi monitor which has rpm cutout & km/h in the next few months.   17. I'm after some info/history on the 1996 R33 "Nismo" Skyline. Apart from the badges all over the car, what else was sorted on these cars? Were they lightened, different diff, etc? How many were made? Is there a link to a site I can have a look at? Thanks for any help on this one
  18. I brought a R33 4 weeks ago with a AVC-R fitted. The car was tuned in Sydney by a tuning shop with the setting ; A@8psi, B@10psi. The car has been great, goes well etc, but a week ago when I turned on either one of these settings then place the car under load I now hear this ticking sound from where the ECU is situated(in front of the passenger's feet). It's like a relay clicking on & off. Secondly, is it a standard for the display unit itself, when turned on to retain a lot of heat? When I touch the back of the unit, it seams to hold a fair amount of heat. Is this common with this system? Any help on this is much appreciated

The bike was built in the USA by Intense Cycles.Anyone who knows about the scene will have heard of them.They produce some of the finest downhill bikes available.The frame is a Uzzi DH( still available in some stores for around$5000!), forks are 7' Boxxers rebuilt & race tuned,Shimano XTR cranks($900),hayes brakes, you get the picture.The bike looks like new & is a blast to ride.I have just rebuilt it & has not been out of the house yet.I can't ride anymore doe to injury. If you want to race or simply fly down fire trails at 70kph plus you won't be disappointed. The pic doesn't have the boxxer forks on it, as these were a more recent up grade. I'm asking $3500 for it.I may consider a swap depending on whats available Thanks
