yea both options are seeming to have their ups and downs.. the head replacement is by far the cheapest but im worried once head is taken off will see damage to pistons. im pretty sure also they use the same cams (de & det). from what i found the r33 rb25 is the only rb thats head doesnt change from turbo to non-turbo. but im still not 100% sure weather the det head is a viable replacement for my de head? im sure it will work. because i havent found anyone who has said no yet.

yea thanks i already realised couldnt use neo but i cant see any reason why the det head wouldnt work? except for needing a tune... but still shouldnt because will be using de computer and everything

I recently bent the valves on my rb25de. After getting quotes seems its gonna cost more to get it rebuilt then just putting on a second hand head. my problem is i am having trouble finding many de heads. however there are loads of det heads around. so what work is needed to make the det head run like a de? on my p plates so just turboing it isn't an option. also is a de neo head basically the same as a normal de head or what work would that need? what is cheapest option? thanks heaps in advance (i have searched but couldn't find any info)

Hey guys im new to this site because just recently purchased a 1993 skyline R33 series 1 i believe.... When i bought the car the window was working but now a day later its not working I have taken the door card off and when i press the switch i hear a little tick noise from somewhere inside the door itself but i cant figure out the problem. Just wondering has anyone else had this problem and possibly give me some suggestions on how to fix it? cheers in advance
