Hi all, thanks for the advice. I ended up taping the inside of the socket / tool so it didn't have direct metal on metal contact with the nuts. Worked a treat. Cheers.

Strongly recommend the black 1999 "vspec 2" currently at Edward Lees, complete with epic front end hit and home made vspec 2 sticker. Great buy.

R34 GTR V-Spec stock suspension in excellent condition. V-Spec, so slightly lower and stiffer than standard GTR suspension. The hats have been removed from the rear struts, as they were used on my replacement suspension. Apart from this they are complete, with no knocks or leaks. Pickup only from Rouse Hill in Sydney. Hi all, Interested in tricks from the experts on how to install / remove wheel nuts without scratching them? Some people have said use painters tape on the nuts and it will take the wear, others have said cover them with a plastic bag.. Are there any tools that are easily sourced (from Supercheap, Repco - etc) which specialize in this? Thanks in advance for any advice or info. Cheers.
