Windscreen wipers. Sound exciting yeah? As this has turned in to a bit more of a 'blog', thought i'd post my endeavours over the weekend, as exciting as they may be. My windscreen wiper arms were a little worse for wear - with rust, scratches and discolouration all over them. Structurally, they were 100% so I decided to spend some time restoring them. The process - 1) Sanded down the surface with wet and dry sand paper - 800 grit, 1200 grit, 2000 grit 2) Spent alot of extra time around the parts which had rusted - ensuring the surface was 100% smooth 3) Cleaned the surface with water and microfibre cloths, prep for painting 4) Popped the screw caps off the bottom of the arms, as they still looked brand new and didnt require painting 5) Started the masking process, lots of newspaper and 3M blue tape 7) Left the spray can out in the sun for a good 15 minutes+ to let it heat up and spray easily 6) Applied 10 thin and even coats of heat resistant 'flat black' paint, sourced from Bunnings For something so visible through the windscreen - I'm very happy with the result. Plan on doing the same to my rear wiper next weekend. Some before and after shots attached below. Cheers.

Thanks mate, have thought about wet sanding / polishing with meguiars compound and plastix. If I dont have any luck sourcing one though, my plan is to order a new replacement via Nissan direct. I want it to be perfect.

Hi All, Looking for a replacement R34 GTR instrument cluster in mint condition. Want to pull the plastic lens off the front of it, mine has a few scratches. Would prefer a standard vspec one, but would also consider the nismo 320km/h dash. Cheers.

Hello mate, I didnt even install the kit in my car, so it's already out and ready to go. When i bought it, I did just plug it in to double check the air con etc was 100% and everything fit perfect. Hi All, I have a full set of 6x genuine Nissan OEM coil packs to suit R34 GT-R / Series 2 R33 Skyline GTS-T. They were removed from a friends R34 GTR a few weeks ago, done approx 65,000KM and are in excellent working condition with no misfires - etc. Looking for $145 for the set, will not seperate. I'm no expert, but I was always under the impression that R33 series 1 had no ABS and R33 series 2 did have ABS.

Hello, You need a pink slip - which is a mechanical inspection, can be done at most mechanics (around $35). The mechanic will fill out paperwork and electronically send it through to the RTA. Once this is through, you will then be able to renew your registration by either going in to the RTA or online. Then you need to also renew your green slip. Think of this as 'people insurance' for those in and around your car while you are driving. Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone, I have a R34 GTR double din stereo conversion kit in mint condition. It comes with everything you need for the conversion - - Larger climate control / air con unit (R34 GTR Ambient air version) with brand new genuine nissan front face - Brand new genuine Nissan double din surround / panel - Genuine Nissan double din side brackets The whole package presents as new, I have literally just pulled the protective plastic off the air con unit lens for the photo. The air con unit is the grey version for a 100% match to the R34 GTR air con vents and dash. Took me quite a while to find it. Depending how anal you are, if you look closely - some R34 GTR's (which may have had the conversion?) have black air con units. Im looking for $595 for the package, will not seperate.
