  1. Thanks mate, she's got just under 86,000 on the clock.
  2. A few shots I took yesterday of my engine and front GTR badge -
  3. Meguiars ultimate compound will do the trick. Should get good results by hand, however if its difficult to remove - a dual action polisher would be of assistance. If your anal about your paint, follow it up with meguiars ultimate polish and then meguiars ultimate wax.
  4. Hello, Did the Nissan inspection come with any form of warranty? I know with state roads inspections, if they fail to pick up a fault, they will pay for a % of the repair. Its a long shot tied in with a little bit of wishful thinking, but thought i'd mention it incase it does help.
  5. Hello, You will have to make sure your car is clean before you clay bar it. However Meguiars products noticeably produce more dust than some other brands, so there will be alot of polish residue that you will need to wash off post the detailing process. Especially inside door jams and the joints where the body panels join together - etc.
  6. Thanks mate, its a team effort - she likes to be clean, and I can make that happen. Still having fun learing with my camera, heres a few 'creative' interior shots I took tonight.

    R34 Gtr

Hello, Are you interested in other colours? If so, whats your budget?
  9. Hi Every1, I had an issue with my Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on my R34 GTR, it was constantly showing the constant incorrect reading of 4% on idle, although my TPS sensor was physically bolted in the correct position. After doing the steps detailed below to calibrate the TPS, the sensor is now reading the correct 0% on idle. Wanted to post the instructions as they may help somebody else in the future. It details what you need to do to get in to the calibration screen, and what buttons you need to press to set it (as on the MFD - its all in Japanese). Thanks.
  10. Thanks mate, thats spot on. Found similar instructions in the service manual last night and gave them a go this morning - throttle now sits at 0% as desired. Thought i'd screen print and post the instructions incase they are needed in the future. Thanks for your quick reply and help.
  11. Hi Every1, On the MFD in my R34 GTR, the throttle reading is constantly at 3 - 4% on idle. It has been doing this since a mechanic told me that my TPS was 'in the incorrect position' and put it in the right position. I'm trying to figure out whether should I simply put the TPS back the way it was (so i get 0% on idle again) or whether my TPS is faulty and I need to buy and install a new one? Is there anything else that could be causing the 4% reading on idle? Does it have to be calibrated? Any info or advice is appreciated. Thanks.
  12. Hi Every1, Thanks again for your replies and help. After jump starting the car this morning and driving for 20 or so minutes, I've started the car 5+ times with no worries. I went to battery world today and got the battery health checked and they said its perfect. Battery world told me it was probably an issue with my leads or something else with the car as the battery was fully charged when I brought it to them (and they said it wouldnt have had a chance to fully charge in the 20 minutes i drove it there). The guy at battery world also said I should be able to leave the car for a month or so before i'd experience the issue I described. Bit strange, not sure if this is accurate? Anyway, I will invest in a trickle charger and go from there. Also thank you for the hint about the positive in the engine bay, this will simplify the process.
  13. Thanks guys, just disconnecting or trickle charging is another option. I called battery world today and they said that its still got just under 3 years warranty. So i guess that is piece of mind. If only the battery was a little bit easier to access.
  14. Nice to know im not alone. I was under the impression that Odyssey was one of the best batteries you could get? It cost me a fortune.
  15. Hi mate, Thanks for the reply. That was my initial thought too however I recall the interior lights were off. Will be interesting to confirm though when I jump start the car to see if any of the light switches are in the on position.
  16. Thanks mate, appreciate the quick reply and confirmation. Will check out the isolation switch tomorrow.
  17. Hi Every1, I have a R34 GTR and I put a Odyssey PC925 battery in it a few months ago. The car has not been driven for a week and the battery has died. My car has a standard alarm on it, dont think it would be draining the battery? It also still has the standard factory Nissan stereo system in it. Does anyone know if this is normal for the Odyssey PC925 to drain after a week? Or is my battery defective? Any advice or info is appreciated. Thanks.
  18. Hi All, I have a set of 20" Zenetti Throwback chrome deep dish rims with near new 225/35/R20 - AVSTYRE Sport tyres (Approx 90%+ tread). They need work - 1 front rim and 1 rear rim is buckled / bent. Cosmetically, they are in excellent condition apart from minor gutter rash on one of them. Can still be driven on, i noticed a slight vibration through the steering wheel at high speed. I believe these are a 5 x 114.3 stud pattern, they were on my S15 200SX & should fit anything Japanese 5 stud. I'm looking for $495 for the lot. Due to size and weight, these are pickup only from Rouse Hill in Sydney. If interested, please PM or call me on 0468 895 020.
