Out of interest, I went and had a look at a BB R34 Vspec GTR at a dealer in Sydney last week. I found it on carsales. The salesman assured me that it has 28,000 genuine KM on it. However the seats, carpet and body looked like they had done alot more. Quite upsetting - especially for the trusting person that ends up buying it, not knowing it's probably done atleast 10x what is on the odometer. This dealer seems to sell a lot of GTR's (including Nurs, Mspecs - etc). Majority with very low KM and painted chassis rails. Long due for a review I reckon.

I think I've seen those prices before, are they accurate? I always thought GTR's were over the 100k mark (especially considering the 300ZX was 93K?) If they are accurate, the R34 depreciation rate is amazing. 13 years on and still approx 50K today for a clean, unmolested vspec example in a popular colour.

I've owned 7 GT-T's previously and used Nulon in literally all of them. Never experienced an issue. Although, never did track days. For my own understanding - could you please elaborate as to what made Nulon a poor experience for you? I have since started using Royal Purple in my GTR / S15's, however am still curious. Thanks.

Yes, that is a fuel filter. Oil filter location. Just look down the left hand side of your engine and it should stare straight back at you.

If you want to stick with Meguiars, buy yourself - 1) Smooth Surface Clay Bar Kit 2) Ultimate Compound 3) Ultimate Polish 4) Ultimate Liquid Wax 5) Ultimate Wash and wax Apply in that order. Remember, products are only as effective as the method of application. Get yourself a good DA and you'll learn some tricks the more times you do it.

Go to Supercheap, get Nulon 10W-40 fully synthetic (6L bottle) and a Ryco Z442 oil filter. And if you havent already done it, I'd suggest you change your fuel filter too. Use a Ryco Z201 for this.

Luckily, I believe eBay have a cap on the final value / listing fee for vehicles. Otherwise, that would have been an expensive bill.

Spotted a black R35 GTR with a matt black bonnet at Dural Hungry Jacks tonight around 7:00PM. There were lots of Evo's and slammed civics in the car park. Must have been meet on, think I saw some JDMST stickers.
