  1. 2) Careful now. Ladies love R34's, so dont say I didnt warn ya. Sorry, I couldnt resist. Serious answers - 1) Yes. 2) Less likely if you purchase a well respected, quality example to start with. 3) Depends on your preference and plans for the car. 4) Dont go off KM on the cluster. Go off wear and tear items such as seats, steering wheel - etc to get a guesstimate on the actual KM of the car. Check for rust and for any obvious oil leaks and also get compression test performed to check engine health. Hope this helps a bit and good luck with your search.
  2. Looks fantastic. I love threads like this, thanks for sharing - well done.
  3. Hi All, I have recently purchased brand new genuine front and rear badges for my R34 GTR. Therefore, will be removing the ones currently on my car when they arrive in a few days. These are genuine Nissan badges and are still in excellent condition, just have the standard wear and tear (mainly just minor stone chips and discolouration) on the red 'R'. Looking for $75 for the pair. Pics will be up shortly. Pickup is available from Rouse Hill in Sydney or will post at buyers expense. If interested, please PM or call me on 0468 895 020. Cheers.
  4. Hi mate, thanks for the reply. I'm after the standard black ones. Those ones in the pic look like vspec II pedals, very similar to the ones I have now - just dont have nismo stamped in them. Cheers.
  5. Will keep it in mind, if I do find a stock set - consider the Nismo ones yours @ mates rates. Cheers.
  6. Hi Everyone, I am looking for a standard set of GTR foot pedals. Must be in excellent condition. I currently have a set of brushed silver Nismo pedals in my car. May trade + cash my way if interested. Will pick up and pay cash if you are located in Sydney, otherwise will pay for postage. My number is 0468 895 020. Thanks.
  7. Also, an oribtal polisher will not help you here. Orbitals + Dual action polishers are not designed for hardcore paint correction such as this (not saying that they are not capable of it though). They have a counter weight in them to avoid heat generation and prevent clear coat break through. Not as effective as your standard rotary polisher (such as panel shops use to manipulate the clear after spraying - orange peel - etc), but very safe for novice users. To fix your problem, if you take it to a pro they will need to wet sand it down and then buff with agressive compound and then buff again with polish to restore shine and then wax to seal.
  8. Please be careful wet sanding. You dont want to go too far and break through the clear. If the paint you applied is still fresh, you could try a more agressive compound to try and remove it and get you back to where you were before. Try meguiars ultimate compound.
  9. Spotted a silver R32 GTR tonight at the lights near rouse hill shops.
  10. Saw you too mate, your car looked great also.
  11. Glad it helps. Cheers mate. Dont know if it would matter, but just turn it off with the key before cutting the wires. Only only other thing I can think of
  12. That being said, if the car is a good car of yours - dont practise wet sanding on it, that might have been a bit of bum advice.
  13. I've had success with touching up with the brush, then sanding down the area i painted with 2000 wet and dry a few days later, then buffing it in with a light compound, followed by the standard polish and wax to bring back the shine. Few ways of doing it - trial and error. If your not happy with the result, you can always remove what you have painted with a standard cutting compound.
  14. Hi mate, I just had one done for that alarm in one of my cars. Didnt need to disconnect battery and didnt need to do anything special from the looks of it. Cut wires and reconnect. If you do want to get it done properly (and cost effective) go and see Daniel from Carbon Car Systems in Sydney. Mobile: 0411 101 737 Hope this helps.
  15. Excellent condition, removed from low KM S15 200SX. May also be compatible with other model Nissans? Priced for quick sale. Pickup is available from Rouse Hill in Sydney or I will post at buyers expense. If interested, please give me a call on 0468 895 020.
  16. I've actually just set aside the day to finally do the GTR. Looking forward to it.
  17. Bugger. Sorry Terry and thanks for the clarification Simon.
  18. Few more styles available - http://www.nengun.co...gt4-center-caps Seems in the last two links that they are readily available. Hope this helps mate. As your car is literally in mint condition - it does deserve brand new ones. Edit: Apologies for the triple post.
