Just a thought. A sticky thread in this forum section with a high level summary on fluid info for each skyline model would be helpful. (With recommended types and capacity for each car - engine oil, gearbox oil, diff oil, fuel filter part #, oil filter part # - etc). If there already is a compiled thread like this - please point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the reply mate. Still a bit torn between 10w40 and 10w50? And will a 5L bottle be enough for my requirements (have been doing some searching and seen the RB26 is approx 4.5 litres with filter). But hard to get a straight answer through research on the internet (Some people have oil coolers or add extra for track days?).

Hi Every1, Due for an oil change and was ready to buy some royal purple 10w40 for my 34 GTR (completely stock with 83k on the clock). After reading through some of this thread, not quite sure if the viscosity i've chosen is the best choice? Car is mainly just a weekend toy and wont be seeing any track time. Any advice, info or confirmation would be appreciated. Cheers in advance.

Hi mate, you're not missing them - the GT-T doesnt have the foam housing. I have the foam in the GTR but just about all of the tools have been flogged. Slowly building the collection and filling the spaces though.

How about an S15 with RB26? Sexual.

Having owned a few examples of both models - i'd suggest S15. Newer, lighter, sexier (last ones debatable, i know). Where are you located? Its my daily, but I have a black 200+ RWKW S15 I'd part with for the right price. mayyyyybbee. PM me if keen.

Hi Every1, One of my cars has a Mongoose alarm in it. I am missing the little key which you can use to manually turn the siren on and off. I still have one of the keys, but the other is missing. I have the number which is on the side of the key so know which one I need. Does anybody know where / if you can get replacements? Have asked my alarm guy, but he can not get them. Just thought I'd ask the question on here before I order a new replacement siren with a set of matching keys. Cheers.
