  1. Very sexy mate. Well done.
  2. All the best, hope everything goes well and you get better soon.
  3. I wouldnt mess with them mate, take a look at the butterflies on their warranty page - they just look angry. http://www.solartint.net.au/lifetime-warranty/ Last time I spoke with Daniel, he was still awaiting the machine arrival from the states. They are getting a laser cut machine or something with all the window templates for cars pre loaded - to make sure its a 100% accurate and clean finish. When it arrives, i'll be going to Carbon Car Systems for tinting too for sure.
  4. Got the package today mate, nice and quick. Thanks heaps.
  5. ^ What an upgrade, great work mate.
  6. Congrats. Dry joints in the 33 are common with the speedo and tacho. For future reference - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/380616-factory-tacho-issue/
  7. Hi Terry, great to hear from you as always. Keep in touch, would be great to see you again, and i'd love to show you how the car is coming along. Either way plan A or plan B is fine with me. Have had a few PM's and also got a new price from Nissan too, will see how we go. Cheers mate.
  8. 'Well, there aint alot of money in circumcision, I just keep the tips'.
  9. Sounds like your on the right track there. Guess who has a full set of low KM Genuine Nissan R34 GT-T coil packs. PM me if you need them.
  10. Looks fantastic.
  11. Hello, your car looks fantastic. Best of luck with the sale. I am curious, is this the old Envy dyno GTR? Cheers.
  12. This car is absolutely immaculate, im sure it will sell quick for you. Best of luck with the sale mate.
  13. Hi mate, Yeah I put Castrol Transmax Z in it last week hoping it would make a difference. No luck in that space. Foot in the clutch is what I've been doing too. Its funny how you can put your foot in, take it out and put it in again and the noise sounds different just about every time.
  14. Thanks for the advice mate. You're right about the mods - I learnt from my other cars once you catch the bug its hard to stop and one thing just leads to another. Although I am aiming to keep this one stock and locked up in my garage to use as my weekend car (famous last words hey). This afternoon I will work out how to post a video of the car on idle. Curious for some feedback.
  15. ^ Cant remember his username, but I do remember having discussions with Stephen about his GTR late last year. Very nice guy and the car did look very clean. If its still available, I'd say its worth pursuing.
  16. Ant has already covered the main points above, some other things that come to mind - - Check the gearbox shifts smoothly and there is no resistance or crunching (no whining or synchro issues). - Make sure the car drives straight and doesnt pull - Check your clutch doesnt slip (Negotiation point?) - Do the standard check for rust (as Ant said - common for R34's around brake light) but also around spoiler, doors, wheel arches, windows - etc - Check the tyres have healthy tread (Negotiation point?) - Check the bottom of the boot for any accident repairs, and make sure theres no water in there too. (If so - why the leak?) - Check out the paint thoroughly. Does the texture match? Any paint runs or drips? Look for over spray on the rubbers and masking lines. Look for blending marks. How picky are you? Check it both, in the sun and shade. Will you be able to live with what you find? - Do the standard history checks, make sure there is no money / loans associated with it and that there is no previous accident history
  17. You have great taste. I couldnt bring myself to commit to any colour other than bayside blue, but i must admit I do have a soft spot for pearl white vspec II's.
  18. First thing I check - Chassis rails. You dont want one which has had them painted black.
  19. Sad, I know. I'm wanting to keep my car completely stock though and for me as I dont have an exhaust - etc, you can really hear the rattles on idle and low RPM. Ant, when it comes out and I know the specifics - you'll be the first to know. (Mates rates for sure).
