  1. Hi again mate. Cheers and agreed - very tough find. Im sure you know by now how fussy I am. So, if I do ever find one - just imagine what it will be like by the time im done with it.
  2. Bump, still searching.
  3. Thanks for the info Terry, posting so if I ever need to - i'll know where to find the contact above.
  4. Out of curiosity, did you order it off the meguiars direct link above? Seen some other stuff on there that im interested in, wondering if they will send to AUS?
  5. Careful not to press too hard if you are polishing your interior plastics - obviously dont want to crack them.
  6. Bump. Its still sleeping in the garage since the last detail.

    My New R35

LOL "de hamburgered". I'll never look at the nissan badge the same way again.
  8. Your avatar is insane, do you have a large version of the pic?
  9. Im no pro, But im pretty sure all the heavy compounds will haze and swirl a little bit - its the next polishing step which then removes them before waxing.
  10. Hi every1, Im looking for an immaculate R34 GTR, either vspec or vspec II and bayside blue in colour. A close to stock one is preferred, but will still consider modified examples. I am located in Sydney but may travel for the right car. Have cash ready. If u have one, please PM me your contact number and a brief description of your car + asking price and we'll go from there. Or If u would like to call me my number is 0403 898 517. Also may be interested in trading my black Evo VIII + cash if your keen. No carsales links please, already check there regularly. And please No broker / importer / dealer offers, I already have people looking in Japan 4 me. Thanks.
  11. Well done mate, I use Meguiars Ultimate Compound to get tough scratches out. Pretty abrasive and works very well. Might be worth a shot. Also, probably not proper process but works very well - I use a mothers powerball mini for the isolated scratches you want to focus on.
  12. Thanks for tutorial
  13. ^ Looks great
  14. There are new laws?
  15. Yeah I have some very fine ones, pretty sure its because i should have sanded a bit longer with the 2000 grit to remove the deeper scratches. I'll try again on the next car for sure.
  16. Great to know, posting in thread so I know where to find this info later.
  17. Hello, do you have any pictures of a before and after (high resolution) of headlights that have gone through the glassylite process? Curious to see if there are ANY very fine sanding marks left afterwards (visibile in certain light, or when the headlights are on).
  18. Very nice.
  19. Those photos are awesome mate.
  20. ^ Just kidding. But on a serious note - the R34 GTR has sexy red engine covers. And a different decal. And it also may have suffered approx 10 years less abuse. (But to what extent - who knows until you open it up). Out of the two, I'd pick the R34 but thats just preference.
  21. I have heard that the R34 is a later model than a R32. Apparently there is an R33 aswell. And an R35.
