  2. Check out Ceva if you want to get it transported back - http://cevacarcarrying.com.au/ However its VIC, if you have the time - id suggest driving it back to Sydney. Hope this helps.
  3. ^ Very nice. I go crazy for TE37 SL's.
  4. Out of curiosity, what would one of these realistically be worth? Thats if you could find one.
  5. Hello how many of each do you have?
  6. Bump - still looking.
  7. Update: I buffed with a powerball and they came up pretty damn good.
  8. Door interior lights. This is why its worth paying the extra cash for a R34 GTR. Anyone seen my wanted to buy ad? Im searching for a bayside blue vspec one if you happen to see this post and have one that you'll sell.
  9. Still available, spent hours again yesterday washing, claying, polishing, waxing - etc all with Meguiars stuff. It literally looks brand new.
  10. Personally, I think it will be the other way around. Your looking at a car which has now from 2012, hit the 3 year old mark. Leases will run out and there will be quite a few more on the market. Hence, more to choose from and more competitive prices. Again, grain of salt - just my thoughts.
  11. True. They are either non vspec or I have had them inspected and definately not for me. Thanks anyway.
  12. Just thinking, I also helped a mate purchase an Evo VIII a few months ago. While we were shopping, i was amazed how many of them (around the $24 - 25k mark) had a whining diff, siezed AYC pump, close to bald tyres, hardly any rego, had obviously done more km than on the cluster, poor resprays, A replacement AYC pump alone from Mitsubishi is $3500. Used, maybe $1000 - $1500 fitted. But you can see how quickly it can add up if you buy a shit box. He ended up paying a little bit more and touch wood, hasnt had any issues. Then again, there are always some legitimate bargains out there, and some cars will always just be hard to sell. Just a grain of salt, but food for thought. Happy new year every1.
  13. How about flipping the conversation for a few posts. I just SOLD one of my R34's in excellent condition for $17k in 1.5 weeks (and I actually had 3 people after it at the time). There still are buyers out there looking for the good ones, realise how many below average examples are out there and willing to pay for the extra for a great one.

  15. I had -4 (each side) on one of my R34's. Looked sexy but shagged the inside of the tyres real quick.
  16. Ive just decided to sell my evo as well mate, yours sounds like a bargain. Due to the time of year, markets pretty quiet here in Sydney (Assuming its the same for Vic) so dont give it away - the genuine buyers will show up eventually.
  17. Come to think of it, I also had the same issue with my Evo. And when I checked the spark plugs, they were wet and rusted from the last owner probably cleaning the engine with a high pressure cleaner. So yeah, plugs are obviously key to the puzzle aswell. So hopefully my last post above will help u out in some way.
  18. I had the same issue with my old R33 - it was the cat, in my case it had fallen off from a poor install. Just had the same symptoms appear with my girlfriends S15, huge loss of power and at some times it would even sound like a rexy. Hers was coil packs - just replaced all. If I were you, i'd go in the following order - 1) Check the cat, if your not comfortable - go to an exhaust shop and have it done 2) Check your spark plugs - when were they last changed? Are the correct plugs being used? 3) Check your coil packs - see if someone on the forums or around your area can lend you a set, or put up a WTB for a used set and if this fixes your issue, maybe then look at grabbing some splitfires or brand new genuine nissan ones if you can afford it.
  19. Great post explaining the process.
