  1. Wow at the R34 pics over the past 2 pages. There should be a warning saying this thread is no longer work safe.
  2. As above, Plastx will make a difference for the outside. But if the yellow is on the inside you will need to bake the light in the oven 2 loosen the glue. Then you can open it up and polish the inside and you will then need to reseal it. If your not comfortable with this, and the damage is on the inside your best 2 to take it somewhere and have it done professionally.
  3. Love your rims.
  4. Hello, how much are you looking to pay and do you want a local one or is interstate is okay? Im in Sydney, have a mate that just fitted a pod filter.
  5. Hello, when will you / the car be back in AUS? And where in AUS will you be located?
  6. Hello every1, Im exploring the option of purchasing a R35. Have been putting money aside regularly for the past year and was originally searching for an R34 GTR but if nothing of interest pops up in the mean time i might just hang out a bit longer (the depreciation on the R35 is insane) and wait for one of these. As the original poster asked, I am also interested in the service / replacement parts cost of the R35. Does anyone have a break down of all the servicing they performed so far and how much it cost? Also assuming most of the guys that do own one get it serviced at Nissan for warranty purposes? (Is the factory warranty 3 years?) And im assuming that the cost of servicing would be much less at other standard garages post warranty? The deterrent for me at present may be servicing and parts - for example i've read on this forum about $25k quotes for 1 turbo replacement. Im also assuming, at present not a large number of generic mechanics would know how to work on R35's. For example, if I went with the R34, I could do most of the work myself (I've owned 6 R34's so far and naturally, you get to know and love them) and repalcement parts wouldnt be a problem as they are quite cheap and easily sourcable (aftermarket or second hand). Those are the pro's but again obvious cons - they are moving on with age and its getting difficult to find a clean one. Either car I get, will be a weekend toy and will not be tracked. So this should prevent wear and tear - unless there are design faults or poorly designed parts which nissan have used in their newer cars and are not yet uncovered in the R35. Example - my 350Z door actuators and window motors (same problem with my old V35), or another example that will definately not hit the R35 - the roof on my old 350z convertible which kept tearing around the rear window). In some cases, they dont make them like they used to. Not saying this is the case with the R35 though, could be a different story and besides, they are really sexy looking. So yeah, alot of questions and assumptions. Thanx in advance 4 the info and clarification.
  7. Hello, is this still available? If so what is your location? Thanx.
  8. Looks like an excellent example of an R34. I think your spot on with the money, the 34's which are still in fantastic condition still demand that sort of money. Best of luck with the sale, hang out for your price and im sure a serious buyer will come up.
  9. Come 2 think of it, I have also helped a few friends and family sell their cars recently. I would have taken their photos in my driveway and probably used my ad as a template for simplicity. So can imagine why that would raise your questions. Pretty observative of you though, good pickup. Hey I just remembered when I sold my Evo VII early this year, I had a guy from Northshore area named Adam look at it, but we unfortunately couldnt agree on price? Is this you if so thanks you saved my ass from buying a R34 GTR thjat was very shiny but may have had a bent chassis so thanks 4 telling me about its history. I never got to thank u cos I lost your number.
  10. Hi, I own a few cars, still do. Not trying to be a show pony but for example at the moment for example I own a Evo VIII MR, 370Z and 2x R34's. Trying to move them slowly and upgrading some of them. Company car is on the way and has been for a while, but delaying 4 as long as I can garage is full and dont want to keep it outside. So yeah, not a private importer, or restorer. Probably hard to actually make money on cars, I'm pretty picky so they cost me a fortune but worth every cent in the end.
  11. Still have these, if keen give me a buzz and make an offer.
