Hi every1, Im looking at a gtr thats up for sale at the moment. Seller told me that it went from japan to california, and was tried to be complied there - sat there for 3 years no luck with approvals so sent here and sold. Ive heard of gtrs going to the usa before and i believe they have to be complied as kaizo kit cars. All i know is they apparently buy a chassis seperately and then an engine and put it together there as a kit car. Im hoping this is not the case with this one. Does anyone have any other particular info about kaizo cars? Seller hasnt said anything about it being a kaizo car, not sure if he would know. He bought it from a friend whos family owned the dealer in california. The car is completely stock apart from suspension and rims, has all the jap history and even the original purchase receipt when it was sold brand new in japan. I've asked for close up pics of the blue nissan build plate, to see if its there or if there is a silver kaizo one in its place. I've also got the engine number. Any way of telling what car it came from? If someone ran it through fast would it say? The VIN number has been run through fast, comes up as a genuine vspec in TV2, so exactly what i am after. Anything else in particular to look out for with this car? Any advice would be great. Thanx heaps.

Hello, I was going to look at that one had it all planned but he called me that morning and told me he is taking it off the market. Was a bit bummed about it cos i had cash sorted day before and if it was ok hoping to take it that day. Never got to see it though. PS Im also a bit hesitant after reading all imports feedback.

Hi Every1, Im looking at buying a r34 gtr. I have found one but it was imported by a dealer called 'All Imports'. I have googled them and am a bit hesitant to buy cause this dealer imported it and feedback on other forums is not too delightful. Ive also seen that majority of their cars (including this gtr) have very low km and no auction sheets dereg papers or log books can be provided. There is a lot of rubbish on the internet. Has any1 here had any dealings with them? Or would u buy a car that was imported by them? Regardless I will be getting a full comprihensive check done on it and also a compression check before moving forward. It could be a diamond in a coal mine. Thanx.
