well the ECL is on all times, tried resetting like 3-5 times, every 2nd drive after that the light comes on...checked all the codes, all pointing to O2 sensor...so have to replace it anyways i'll find out the fuel efficiency soon before and after putting on the new O2 sensor

thanks dunc...maybe i'm just still used to hondas which used different O2 sensors (i remember euro had 2)... i think my car's fuel efficiency is pretty bad, as in maybe about 350-400kms with about 3/4 tank (i use cruise control mainly for driving), my driving is 50% 80kph, 35% 70kph, 10% 60kph & 5% 100kph roads...

need more help urgently guys, any fast response is greatly appreciated my car currently has a busted O2 sensor so its fuel efficiency is about the same as an F1 car (well not exactly but u guys know what i mean)...is the O2 sensor for vq25det the same as any other vq engine? and how do i know which O2 sensor (primary or secondary) that would need replacing?

yes they do, they had 2 in stock but i bought 1 already for my car...

got a wheel alignment done today...the guy told me the sound that I thought was from tyres out of alignment was in fact the front right wheel bearing...does anyone know the part number for wheel bearing or if M35 wheel bearing is the same with any other nissan? any help would be appreciated as i plan to get this sorted ASAP...

any long term issues or solution on how to fix this? after a drive i smell something like oil burning... i have registered into that forum but i still can't access the site...

Hi guys, Got a few questions to ask and hopefully anyone of you can give me an answer/solution... 1. Last Tuesday night I was driving in Melbourne's unusual fog, got my cruise control on and turned on the front windshield heater...suddenly the cruise control just turns off and didn't register anything...the radar symbol is still on but not showing any cruising speed and I noticed that the cruise control is just off...this happens until I turned the car off then turned it on again, tried the cruise control and it's working as normal, tried turning on the windshield heater and it's gone off again until i restart the car...any ideas why? (sorry if too long, can't think of writing the short version without really confusing anyone) 2. I had the O2 sensor busted and am still waiting for the sensor to be ordered & delivered to the workshop that I frequent. The boss had a look underneath my car and said that it looks like my turbo is starting to leak. Called the previous owner to ask and he said he didn't have any issues and the turbo was just fitted not too long ago...any idea on why? 3. I will need to do servicing in the next month or two...now I need some help on part numbers for oil filter, type of oil that you guys recommend (what viscosity too) and part numbers or equivalent parts for the front and rear disk brakes and pads (fronts are the same with which car and same with the rears)... 4. My car came with the Bose sound system...just noticed that the FM range just went up to 90MHz...is that normal because the car is from Japan? 5. Is it possible to burn an Australian navigation map/system into a DVD and pop it into the dvd sat nav drive? does it work? Sorry for all the noob questions...still learning a lot on my car... just got my stagea last weekend and in the space of less than a week, i saw at least 1 volvo v-series wagon everyday...thought wtf is going on here? then today went to one of my usual workshop to machine the rear rotors, the guy said to me that he thought it was a volvo...i just grinned and remembered how every other m35 owner has their first 'i thought it's a volvo' moment

how much are the sway bars? are they including everything, as in endlinks etc? cos with hondas some ppl sell swaybars separately with the bushings & endlinks...

hey guys, just joined in SAU...used to have a wannabe racer civic n now got myself an M35... cutting things short, i'm currently looking to get aftermarket sussy for my m35...have had a read a few times on SAU and still deciding between nismo s-tune (non-adjustable but should be ok as i won't change any heights much), tein super wagon or any of teins for wagons (used tein flex for my old car and was very happy with teins) or bc racing type br (cheapest one)... any place to get any of them from?

hey all, just got myself an M35 stagea...all stock standard (i think), i'm totally noob on turbo cars so bare with me used to own an EG civic & still part of the ozhonda forum crew too quick pics: first simple 'mod' for the car: i'm currently looking for suspension options, considering between nismo s-tune, tein super wagon or bc racing br type...it'd be great if anyone can point me to the right directions:)
