have you ever tried high speed braking in an r33 gtst with and without a rear strut brace? i could instantly feel a difference in the rear end stability.

i have driven vx ls1 5.7l and vz ls2 6.0l ss and a ba ford xr8. the commo's feel more sporty. where as the fords felt more like a family car. try them out. both are spacious and both have great straight line grunt. and will tow ur family with a car load of stuff with a trailer on the rear.

i meant trade off for a thinner swaybar. the shocks were on the car when i bought it ages ago. if i had thought into the future it would have paid for me to get new shocks rather than rebuild them. at least then i would have somthing worthy of aussie roads and be able to take to the track at the same time without the hassel of a rebuild at least once a year. yes thats right folks. when it comes time that they do go again. i think thats what i will end up doing. buying new ones suited to our roads.

yeah, seen as though the car is driven on the street nearly every day i diddnt want to go for the thicker swaybars. i had to trade off somewhere. are they the links that mount both sides of the front swaybar on 33's?

Thanks for the advice Gary. Atm im on a full whiteline stabiliser bar kit with urethane bush set, camber front and rear and pineapples set to standard. the front adj blades on the swaybar im pretty sure though i could only get set up at 2nd and 3rd hole. can the front swaybars be adjusted any further? how can i do it? the rear is at full hard. cracked windscreen, damn! what were u doing to do that.

I've got HKS Hiper-D Coilovers. i have heard they're 9 or 10kg front, 6 or 7kg rear.! is this true? in one way i beleive it because of how bloody hard they are on the street. in grip sessions they skip at the track under hard braking going over riplly surfaces. they are a drift coilover i know. honestly i just had them reconditioned and b4 that the damper adjustment was seized in one of the shocks. so i never did any adjustiung at the track. it will be interesting to see how they perform with a harder damper setting especially on the rear end for drifting.

u could get a gtr. or u could spend it all on ur current car. id probably do the 33 up. all for the reason of the 34 being a very similar car to what u currently have. so the upgrade wont be all that benifical to you personally *hypnotoad* what are you looking at geting out of te r34 anyway that you couldnt get out of the 33. at least the 33 with $10k thrown at it will be a car with benifits where as a mildly worked 34 is still mild in all respects.
