Dave get someone to hold the bottom pulley with the hand brake on and put it in gear you must use a long breaker bar (350mm) or larger if you are to have any chance at getting it loose.If not your timing belt might just flex under the strain getting you nowhere.sidchrome make them allong with many others.

I got my ceramic puc h/d sprung button clutch for $450..about 5 months ago.Could be exhaust manifold gasket leaking letting excess gases escape causing it to boost.Just see what your mechanic says.

Yea theyre ''self do-able'' a 2 person job.But i would only be doing it with someone who has done this sort of thing b4.Seen one seen them all.Or if you never have,pay someone to do it for you.The only hard part about it for me was tilting the engine to gain access to top bolt then.Box down and box up to slide the spline back in.

That sounds to me like your clutch is slipping.. ((The revs go from 2000 to instantly 4000rpm and down to 3000 and go normally up))...It slips making it rev high faster then it grabs forcing the engine to loose revs.... Yep it sounds like a clutch to me.but what you said about the computer, i dont think it would be right.The reason being you computer doesnt controll the revs of your car your foot does.Think about it what else can controll the revs with such ease and take them away..Maybe your actuator no i dont think so though??I dont know if a sensor would do that!i doubt it.But it sounds like the behavior of a worn clutch.How long have you had the car for? good luckske's....
