  1. as topic states. i need to know how much liquid "the whole system takes?" not just the radiator.for R33gtst. cheers craig.
  2. 20 people in so far.go the diehards.
  3. also maybe a little thread tape for the drain plug. will be dropping the rad in tomorrow
  4. just make one. ie: a cable from the radiator to the chassie. metal to metal. it really has to do with positive energy build up in the aluminium rad. seen as though it is mounted on rubber. it kind of acts like a storage device for positively charged energy to sit in the system.hence the earthing will allow that energy a place to escape. ive been told that if it isnt done, within a few months or so the rad can be corroded inside.
  5. Yeah.fitting it was as easy as taking the old one out and putting in the new one. a few things to mention though:- *The radiator must be earthed by an earthing strap/cable.if you want the all things metal in the cooling system to live.it has to do with electralosys. *You will need to go to supercheap and buy 3 copper washers for the temp sensor. I still havent driven the car as of yet.hopefully by thursday.
  6. lol.
  7. Bought one yesterday. They look perty. The core itself is 15mm wider than stock and everything else is bigger ie:end tanks. So about a 60% increace in water capacity over the stock radiator. Will have a report to give on day to day driving in 1-2wks. Track report a bit later on.
  8. I have heard of "anti boil" only, radiator coolant. can this be purchased down at the local supercheap? and does it give better boiling point handelling capabilities? what are the other benifits of moving to such a coolant?
  9. what size and offset?? what tyres?
  10. for uk $495 pounds.id say they can eat a fatty.
  11. *tripplebanforultragay* on the other hand.people should concerntrate on making a fully sick new skyline body kit for every make..
  12. hey.i sent you a pm about the roll cage.
  13. lol.i must know if they really do the job they are saying.it looks to be good. good point about the hpc coating as well.
  14. do you want to get it re-registered? you will need all of those parts back in there if you do.
  15. but then you have to factor in shipping costs on top of that also. are we on a free trade agreement with the U.S. meaning no customs tax?
  16. cazman said that the shrouds will fit for r33gtst on these radiators.and im guessing that its the same story for s13 and r32.
  17. top job. i dont like the thought of spending 6hrs on it though a cheap dremmel from super cheap.with a poilishing kit from bunnings.and the usual sandpaper.possibly a mouse sander to.just dont sit on one spot for to long with the rough grit paper. a bench grinder with cutt and buff polishing wheels and the wax blocks to suit.to do the big areas.bit hard though if your polishing the covers on the engine.
  18. mm.not me.ive been 2 times out of the past 4yrs.if you go every year then you will see allot of simil;ar stuff. go if: *you are bored. *you have never been b4. *you are a car junkie. *you think you have a chance with the promo girls. *you have free tix
  19. damn get a bargain! if you were in syd i would be arround your place looking at them.
  20. pay the exhaust man $1k plus and you will have a quite + free flowing exhaust.its all in the type of mufflers you use. or you could stick with your current setup and just throw a silencer in the exhaust tip.or yopu could buy an apexi exhaust valve (which sits in place of a flange gasket i think).which can be remotely activated from within the cabin via a lever and cable setup.
  21. here are a few possible areas that it could be. *coil packs. *coil pack igniter.(if any of the wires leading from the "coil pack igniter" are not giving a reading/or any that are reading spastic on the multimeter.you have a problem.)vise versa for the wires that lead to it from the computer. *Crank Angle Sensor.(if the computer gets the signal to fire the coil packs at the wrong time you definantly will have a missfire.) *exposed wires in the ignition system.(that means a thourough check of all the wiring in the ignition system.) *spark plugs. *water in the airbox. *leak in the intercooler to manifold pipework.(the car will spit out black smoke, right after it splutters,if this is the case.) *afm is a possibility.though dont quote me on that.its only a suggestion. *the computer.
  22. damn darko.your car still has the same probs. yeah you should get greg at autosport to have a look at it.he knows skylines inside out. also TO4GTR had the same problem.it turned out to be a fouling injector. does the emanage have a hand controller so that you can check duty cycle/overall performance of the injectors? this could bring to light a problem in that area,if there is one.as per dave's injector problem you learn from it.
  23. EDIT:cool your keeping the skyline and throwing a 2 way in it..G4U.
  24. ickday eadhays
