  6. no doubt dave. it's looking like i will just install my self at the current quotes i have been getting.this allways ends up happening with me.i look into getting it done through a pro and then i end up doing it myself anyway. risking youve got it down pat there mate.prolly nore like a weekend for me.i might even go out and buy a new clutch as well now.just so i can have the car finished on the weekend.it will probably be a rainy one at that so there is no better time for it really is there. anyone want to learn how to put a clutch in a 33

  9. Hi mate. what what was the total overalll cost. where did you get it done at. did you buy a brand new clutch?what type?cost etc.. sorry about the 20 questions. Corinne.bad choice of words. :laughing-smiley-014:
  10. he likes it.otherwise he wouldnt be asking. imo..i will leave my opinion out of it..
  11. corrine.if you can change a clutch in an hour you can come and do mine. i can do it myself though it means a bit of time of the road.liek a few days.with class and what not i wil be run off my feet.ive done it before though, on the skyrine and a swift.time is precious coming up to fri night at driftland. i might do it this weekend im still undecided as to what way to go.the only thing that will fek me is the turn arround on the clutch reco.
  12. imo a litre over full is way too much.keep in mind that to much oil and you can start to blow seals. when i am changing the oil i allways empty whats left in the oil cooler out and refill the engine with 5L of oil then all it takes is another 100-200ml extra oil to fill up the oil cooler.all up,it fills everything and some. my 19row oil cooler in reality only holds a 100-200ml at a guess,if that. because my car is pretty much exactly the same as yours is bar the azenis and i run 13psi all day every day.for ages and ages it has been this way..and see's pretty much the same sort of track abuse throughout the year id say that you should go the oil cooler route. Castrol Edge sport 10w-60 is gold i use it every time.
  13. what kind of price am i looking at for clutch removal, flywheel machining and clutch reco (heavy duty clutch) and reinstallation. in sydney.and where? craig.
  14. negro what! sold out allready.ill be there in support
  15. prolly defect for large knob.
  16. dod source and cs source.
  17. so for the streeet car this is purely for looks. though for the race car that regularly sees 170+kph they are a benifit. i had a similar wing though i never got arround to installing it.i do see the track a few times a year, though i sold the wing.still though if i owned a race car it would have aero mods.at least now we can see a real world result of the wing working and not just people tellin you that they can feel the rear end stick better to the road. are you going to test out an adjustable twin blade wing.from word they are the best at providing downforce.
  18. quit your fast talking jibber jabber.i want results!!!
  19. i like v8's and think that thery are great in australian motorsport in general.the pureists can eat a fat one.give me an 8 gie me a 6 or 4 turbo supercharge them do what ever to make the power and at the end of the day all it really comes down to is car setup and driver combo.... look at it this way....if i drove a v8 soarer and you drove a hachi roku.and i destroy you at an event.are you really goping to hate that much as to create bad fanfare towards the driver his car his crew and all the same the sport of drifting... you have got to get it thru that we are australia, not japan.what cars do we have a majoritory of?i thought so..
  20. ahh yes..show and shine duely noted.
  21. who needs custom plates anyway.$400 is an absolute rip off.
  22. it's a destroyer.
  23. well i have never seen any underground drifting.nor have i heard of any.the masses of drifters do it at the track in australia and thats for real.sure we have all had a thrash on the street.though,we dont really congregate as a drifting community out side of the track to participate in drfiting like japan does like you say in the mountains on the sweeping passes,or really the industrial areas of sydney.unless,we have a freind or friends that are into drifting that we know.it is hard to find in syd. though take a look at drag racing on the street in syd and the story is allot different too drifting.there are lots of meetups and it happens allmost every weekend.but there are allso allot of the street racers who dont take it to the track have, only been once and never been again. i have a laugh at the street racer who have never been to see a top fuel meeting.it is a sight to behold.they think they have the best car out there. well back to the topic of drifting.----------------------->>>>
  24. i like sk's comment . so i think i will hold out a little bit. really no matter how much it is tightend it will still only work good for side impact protection.and there really is no flex in that part of the car that this bar can stop or prevent from happening that would make it an effectiv upgrade.. thanks for that link.it helped clear things up a bit.
