  1. Hey Are you positively annoyed friend? ass.when are you heading out again.
  2. they are the same pics as on hot4's i noticed..
  3. check out this thread @ initial drift there are a few pics of the day that look the goods. http://www.initialdrift.com.au/forums/view...676&start=0
  4. What was on the radio chubbs Ps:i found mud and grass in between the bash pannel and the petrol tank.
  5. Pm sent haysey We should edit our best parts and send them to hasey for edit. What say haysey?hip hip hooray.
  6. a few pics. line up evils true evilness just jap dori rx7 The great thing about the day is that every1 improved as the day went allong. Yall should go a locked diff of sorts.it was great for drift.I am going to start a diff shimming tutorial,(big thanks to Mike of D1NZ for shedding light on the subject),with pics for r33.so DIY peeps on sau can do the same.
  7. chain them to your cars..lol
  8. Thats a good price. im up for another day.had a great time out here. There is over an 1hr20mins of in car footage. the rough idle was sorted, after i put the intercooler hose back on,i gave it a rest for 5 then started the car back up it was as normal on the way home.") I tell you i was thinking the worst when it happened on the track. Big up's to adam the organiser for sau.
  9. i set my rear sway bar to full stiff. The front end feels lighter and at low speed feels as if it will have a tendency to understeer.but meh i need the ass to stay out.. Hope it doesnt rain!
  10. thats easy.i went the trolley jack method of lifting it out and reinserting it.though i took it out on my own i needed a hand to guide it back in. on the 33's.are 4 main bolts on the floorpan, where the swaybar is connected they are removed to give more room.and the swaybar can be used as a resting point for the diffs tailshaft yoke.and its pretty easy to get it down from there.
  11. what sayem at the meeting we talk about it.
  12. I could only get the shims from nissan. Well i drove it this afternoon. And can safely say that it is virtually a locked diff.Seen as though i have never driven a car with a locked diff, only ever been a passenger in one,i can safely say that this is going to work well for drifting. Reversing out the driveway was new to me.chip,chip,chip...
  13. The track theme sounds good. Heres another. we could make the flooring look like the streets of japan. IE:we park our cars next to fake painted cardboard gutters with jap looking light poles and signs. Or you could do a workshop theme drive the cars up on ramps. The only thing is those of us with low front bars.EEK.And use empty toolboxes scattered arround.empty oil, funnels.a shifter etc..
  14. Hey mate.I can confirm that they do have 2 shims one either side.i have pics of them. On mine it had allready been swapped on one side for a 1.1 shim and still had the stock one in there on the opposite side. Trust me it will take you 30sec to get at the outer side once you have the inner side in front of you. What i have done is take the stock 0.8mm shim which was more like a 0.711 shim (worn).and added that to the other side allong with the new 1.4 shim. And threw the 1.1 shim (more like 1.0) on the other side. Am going to fit the diff tomorrow.it should work well.2.1-2 on one side and 1.0-1 =3.1-3.
  15. that i do not know.yet!but if i can i will get a pic of the other side of the diff if it is not a task to do it.Though i and waldo have read that there is definently one on the other side. The diff oil i am using to refill it with is penrite. spent up on the gearbox oil though.Penrite 10tenths @ $60 per 2.5l and i bought 2 of them.with a 20% discount card.yeah baby!so far through the week i have noticed remarkably smoother gear changes.Needs to be warmed up before getting into it though. Atm the diff is on the garage floor.i will pull it apart tomorrow when daylight graces. Happy easter.
  16. is the hicas connected to any fluid lines leading from the engine bay? Hicas currently has the electronic lock & shims on. Any thought on hicas removal & reinstallation.
  17. that was gold.2nd gear?who cares...just whitnessed the powah of a locked diff...i hope i can get this shim in in time for the drift day.
  18. nice "i like,i like"(in crusty voice) we have another.come join the party Haysey.there will be booze, bitches and smoke.... btw chris.you are definently getting good on the skid pan.
  19. there is are a few parking spots there.around 15 or more if we squeze in.failing that we can park accross the road from there.
  20. it would be lairy...btw.i know nothing about custom audio install. Start out looking for a electric motor, that not only fits all the desired criteria (size, weight, and the ammunt of angle it has) but will also do what you ask of it. Do you actually know what the "electric arm's" for the lifting of the amp are called.
  21. chris do u have a linked vid of the clover leaf skid pan??i want to see. changed the engine (castrol edge sport) & gearbox oil (penrite 10 tenths).and also fuel filter.just waiting for the shim to arrive so i can pull diff and do the oil... Im rolling no front bar come drift day.i try to steer clear of leaving the track souvenir's as they cost to much and i dont want the tourists going home with the koalas.
  22. yes the wingis still for sale shane. u have pm
