  1. im using a heat range 7 (PFR7A) NGK R iridium. installed by CRD when i got the car tuned years ago. im picking new ones up this sat along with a fresh oil change it shold be good. keep in mind that ive done 46,000klm's on these plugs. and they were good enough performance wise to see me through many a track day.
  2. could it also be that gold valve that hangs off of the plenum closest to the firewall? cant remember the proper name. but i read that when people blip the throttle, and they have hunting issues for idle, it can be because this valve is blocked a bit.
  3. natetune on IDA has them pretty cheap and they have comparison before/after pics of the extra lock they give. and they come with full installation instructions. nathan was rather helpfull in answering any questiions that i had about them. >>EXTRA STEERING LOCK TIE ROD SPACERS<< before after
  4. im going to kep the current pads untill they wear a little more then buy some good ones. in the end i went to nissan genuine parts and got the retaining spring assembly. no one would sell it separatly. for obvious reasons.
  5. i read they are $212 a set. price changes though.
  6. yes. take off your rear calliper and rotor to expose the fabeld handbrake brake shoe.
  7. ahh f**ky!! hase i wanted 2 more wheels as well. doh!
  8. im looking at bottom of the range. that fed's arnt . ive been quoted $110 @ tempe. and $100 @ ozzy both fitted both brand new and their cheapest tyres. 28th feb - 2nd march. thursday is a full day of setting up. fri practice. sat-sun competitions. http://www.powercruise.net/12/index.php?page=program i am giving them a call 2morrow. thanks!
  9. NICE. I SEEN THE YOUTUBE VIDEO THAT U POSTED *excuse caps lock * that 32 is a weapon for dori i would imagine. it also said that you would have some progress videos on the build of the other car which i assume is urs. bring it on eh!!
  10. have you seen the oil cooler install by blk33 in the diy thread! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...lat-t79130.html

  16. and it begins.again and again and agian.
  17. sounds allright if you dont have a clue how to drift and want to learn the basic skills. its not ur car you dont have to worry about allot of factors. still pricey though imo. so who are the instructors theyd want to be DA?
  18. im hopefully entering in the drfit comp at a special initial drift australia entry price.
  19. excellent chop there. so who has dibs on the first r35 to get in a front ender accident?
  20. i see what your saying. and yes i am getting into drifting. uras are not cheap either. i read they are $212 a set. i might just buy a brand new set of OEM ones. i noticed that all of the brand new shoe kits dont come with the springs to afix them. i have to use the old parts. which leads me to beleive that all springs and screw components can be bought separatly. they do look pretty though
  21. all good did they have a little comp at the end of the day?
  22. lol. i was fired up to have a read and this happens to me as well.
  23. im not to sure. well mine is still good some say that you have to have the backlash reset. though i never did. backlash has to do with the way the crown wheel re-aligns with the cog. so you see i and others might have got lucky. mine doesnt make a peep. as for adding extra shims. well i would lean towards keeping the diff somewhere in the vicinity of 3mm worth of total shim. mainly because i take it to the track and use it as a daily. if it were a daily only then i would have it somewhere in the 2- 2.5mm worth of total shim. in the first few months try to avoid coing arround tight corners when po-po are arround it will only draw unwanted attention to your car. blck32 said he put 2 1.49 and a stocko .8 so he has 3.78 worth of shim in there. that would be very, very tight.
