Porsche 997 Turbo Detail
immacreflections replied to immacreflections's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Are you in melbourne and actually wanting a detail? Without sounding rude guys I seem to have alot of people PMing me all the time about how much each detail cost. If you want a detail call me or email me and we can discuss your car and condition and give an estimate for the job. I am sure you guys can understand how this is frustrating. Regards, Mitch -

Anyone Recommend A Good Detailer In Sa?
immacreflections replied to iwanta34gtr's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
The best in SA is ph: 0433 700 139 em: [email protected] temp site: http://hamish023.imgur.com Definately one of the best in Australia also. If you are calling him to only check paint thickness and condition obviously as you said this would require a noiminal fee IMO but also if you purchase the car having it detailed to bring it up to perfect would be a good gesture also IMO. This is a new Porsche Turbo I did a couple weeks ago but have just got around to doing the thread now also! This was a long 2 stage process due to the very hard paint on this car! This car was also treated to Swissvax Crystal Rock and included an undercarriage cleanup also. Sopme of the pics looks like a different colour due to the large amounts of different coloured mettalics different like produces a slighty different hue which is exagerated via my lights when spot checking. Hope you enjoy. Some before and afters, for some of you who dont know exactly what to look for or at, see the little scratches appearing in a roundish shape around the light....those are scratches and imperfections you will see in the next couple pictures these are now absent. Finished and outside YUMM looks so wet! Thanks guys hope you enjoy. I would also like to thank Ryan (Richard 06STI's son from the WRX CLub) for his help tidying up the car and doing some final touches prior to pick up. Regards, Mitch

I did this car a couple weeks ago now but have only just got around to doing the thread for it. This was a 2 stage polish using meguiars polish and lake country pads on my flex DA. The car was then treated to 4 coats of Swissvax Crystal Rock Wax at $1500 a tub! Ill let the pictures do the talking (note you can almost read the writing on the inside of the hallide light:P) All taped up including the vents on the bonnet! A couple 50/50 and after polishing shots Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss Great Mettalic POP! One of four coats of Crystal Rock Reflection? you like? Outside shots it was a little overcast unfortunatly Hope you enjoyed!

You CANNOT get quality detailing products and equiptment in general retail stores I dont care what the 16 year old school kid working their says. I am a professional detailer and have given you the best and most accurate advice you could ever start with, what you decide to do with that is not my problem but I can guarantee if you follow it you will be impressed. If you spent 5 years reading constantly trialling and learning new products methods and equiptment you would be thinking the same thing. It seems as though you have your mind set on what you want so why ask for an oppinion (and get one from a knowledgable person) to shrug it off as a meh. Just go buy what you want as you wont listen all you want to hear it. "Oh yea that one you bought is good that ok use that" so there you have it

Sander/polisher Vs Random Orbital
immacreflections replied to 75coupe's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Instead of "honey I need to spend a bit more" you say "honey I placed an order and fogot about the gravitaional pull of the earth when pricing up so I had to spend a bit more, but the orders already placed" -
Sander/polisher Vs Random Orbital
immacreflections replied to 75coupe's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
http://www.skylinesa...isher-feedback/ See post #12 the kits have pads and polish everything you need! A RO like the concours 900 is ALOT easier to get swirl and hologram free finish with a sander/rotary machine its difficult for a professional let alone a hobbyist (not trying to put you down) -
Meguiars G220V2 Polisher - Feedback?
immacreflections replied to iwanta34gtr's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Guys I HIGHLY RECCOMEND the CONCOURS 900. I had a DAS 6/G220V2 and didn’t mind it but it bogged down WAY to easy. At waxit one day and Antonio made me try the Concours 900 (thinking oh yea it’ll be the same as all others I have used). I would have to say torque seemed up by 20% or so and worked great. I have now moved onto a Flex VRG3401 which is ALOT more expensive but in its range and for a hobbyist you CANNOT go past the Concours 900. Plus support the people that support your forum and club! Ok maybe I dont know what im talking about :S CAUTION: Z-CS should never be applied over uncured waxes. from Zaino site, and your wax would not be fully cured within an hour or two I assure you. Search "Zaino Z-CS over wax detailingworld" in google youll see everyone that knows what they are doing is putting a wax over zaino not zaino over a wax. but you can continue what your doing just trying to help. guessing it wasnt black? I GUARANTEE it would have buffer trails with a green pad especially you would have slight marring with a black pad even But maybe I just do it as a profession and dont know what I am talking about :S, except for the 3 emails I got from members who are detailers/enthusiast of detailing agreeing but maybe their wrong also. Damn I guess I need to go re learn the art of detailing adn REFINING a finish.
-
Correct the Zaino wouldnt have even cured or bonded to the car, it would have been pointless to put that on after a wax. sealants MUST go on prior to a wax. Really.....Id like to see that, no way not even with a blue LC pad and working it for ages youll still have minor marring and slight buffer trails.

Removing Scratches & Cleaning?
immacreflections replied to suwidji's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Thats a tuff looking S14! what sealant and wax did you use? -
Dont want it cracking or peeling......do it the right way and get it recovered otherwise no matter what even with the right undercoat it WILL eventually peel, remember dashes have foam underthem which flexes more than paint causes paint to crack.
