  1. I do though I will have to get his number again Ill pm you in a couple days he does GREAT work.
  2. remember you dont want to clay and use iron-x on paint often6 monthly or 12 monthly as it removes al your previous wax and sealant, unless you are re applying all fresh again.
  3. Day 2: This is Lyndsays Camaro (owner of the previous Landcruiser and S4). This car is still being completed and the paint is 10 years old but still in great condition, just needed a little touching up. The interior wasnt in the car so that wasnt touched. Products used: Menzerna Polishes Lake Country Pads Swissvax Waxe Bowdens Own Metal Polish OPT Tyre Bond Gel I didnt get many pictures of this and being orange was very hard to see the imperfections but I tried as you can see . The car was also washed with OPT ONR prior to correcting as it was only a little dusty. Looks shiney under shadey/light but upon closer inspection it had a fair bit of light marring and swirls that wou will see. Little Coop coming to help. Hard to see properly but can tell not the clearest reflection. Menz 85rd and LC white constant pressure Little scratch in between the two polish dots. GONE.. You can see the marring and swirls here in the concave part between the light reflecting and below see a clear line where I polished for a 50/50 Bit out of focus but you can see the 50/50 unpolished/polished here Lyndsay having a go.. All finished reflection shots and wheel dish polished. Hope you guys enjoyed. More of the trip coming Regards, Mitch
  4. It can but it cant lol, it wont remove non ferrous particles and materials as a clay bar does so good to use them together iron-x foolowed by claying. ye bowdens products are GREAT
  5. Thanks Rush Borci, use two bucket method, microfibre products, and get a foam lance! you will never avoid them completly not even I can no one can but you can minimize the chances. Regards, Mitch
  6. From their site: "Iron X by CarPro is an acid-free, pH-balanced iron remover that decontaminates auto paint and wheels." "Airborne chemical compounds and ferrous (iron-containing) particles penetrate auto paint and create corrosive compounds that eat into the paint's sublayers. Detailing clay removes the particles but it doesn't remove their effects - corrosion may already be creeping under the paint's surface. The only way to truly remove ferrous particles is with a dedicated iron remover like Iron X. Iron X opens up the paint's pores to release iron particles and to neutralize the caustic compounds that have developed as a result of the particle. In one step, you can eliminate the cause and its effects. Put an immediate stop to paint damage before it's too late."
  7. Day 1 of work Part 2: After the cruiser was done it was onto the Audi S4, this was a beautiful car with plenty of go aswell as Lyndsay showed me. This car is once again a regular driver so perfection wasnt the plan but as close as possible was to bring it up better.......let it be said IMO we werent far of perfection though! Products used were: Bowdens Body Gel for washing and foaming Bowdens Clay bar for decontamination with OPT ONR for lube Bowdens Own Vinyl Care Bowdens Own Naked Glass Bowdens Own Leather Love Zaino Z-10 Leather Conditioner Vikan Brushes Menzerna Polishes Bowdens Own Body Cleanser Lake Country Pads Swissvax Waxes OPT Tyre Bond Bowdens Own Metal Polish I didnt take many pictures of the interior as it was pretty clean already, and forgot to keep taking pictures of the correction stages although it is hard to see swirls with this paint due to the heavy metallic as you will see. Plenty of Kamikazi Bugs! Brake dust on Brake dust soon to come off with the thanks of Iron-X Bowdens Own Body Gel mixed 1:10 in the foam lance works well! Hello marring Good bye marring! BAHH!!! swirls galore! Thats better, not perfect but a fair improvement! After machining with Menz 106 on white using the Flex 3401 followed with 85rd on black. Topped with Swissvax Shield a favorite of mine! and some finished reflection shots. Hope you guys enjoyed my first day in Perth, I didnt take as many pics of jobs I wanted due to forgetting but am doing another trip in Dec and will remember then Following days to come! including R33 GTR, Pontiac Firebird, Chev Chevelle, and some other! Regards, Mitch
  8. Iron-x Bowdens Own Vinyl Care Bowdens Own Naked Glass Vikan Brushes Menzerna Polishes Bowdens Own Body Cleanser Lake Country Pads Swissvax Waxes Bowdens Own Tyre Sheen Bowdens Own Metal Polish To the pics for Day 1: First up the Land Cruiser. Starting with a Foaming, wash, and decontamination with Iron-X. Plenty of contamination and sap built up on the body Iron-X Doing its thing. Turbo! As this car is used to carry the dog and as an all round vehicle the interior wasnt in the best condition as you can see. Seal marks, I used Bowdens Own Vinyl Care to take care of this After Interior After not perfect but a hell of alot better! Exterior after. Being white and just wanting it brought up better I used a white CCS with 106 on the Flex VRG 3401 followed by a Black CCS and Bowdens Own Body Cleaner. Wax used was Swissvax Glacier x2 coats Part 2 to follow.
  9. Madaz actually dreamweaver does come in a pack, I have the design pack of adobe so have fireworks, illustrator, dreamweaver, photoshop, flash, indesign, bridge ect. thanks for the link I wil have a look and play around. Michael, Can you call me please 0432 839 463 thanks
  10. Jonno is correct, just remember you can top a sealant with a wax but you CANT top a wax with a sealant as sealants need to bond tou your paint and can onyl be layered if done within a flash time say 10-15 min depending on the product. the mothers cleaner wax can be thrown in the bin its no good, use the AG SRP (super resin polish) as step 4 applied via hand is fine. I would reccomend a product called Prima Banna Gloss though instead, this is a glaze with carnauba in it also and is fantatic at hiding swirls as per Prima Amigo. see here keep in mind they will come back as they are filled not removed but makes a big difference. http://www.detailparadise.com.au/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3447 see the difference. Then you can top that with a wax not a sealant, such as DP max wax or another wax you have. I reccomend STRONGLY Naviwax IONCOAT from ebay.co.uk it last ages and looks great if you use bannana gloss and top with that it will appear swirls free for ages! if you use a cheap wax that doesnt last long it means its wears off and then the bannagloss will also as it wont be "held in". Regards, Mitch Ps as Jonno said I strongly reccomend checking out www.bowdensown.com.au and www.waxit.com.au Support the people that support you.
  11. Guys I have had a cancellation does anyone else want to book in would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Mitch
  12. Hi all I had help from a friend building a site on weebly, and apparently am at the end of what I can do on it. He suggested I get a proper program to which I found out I already have, dreamweaver. I am after someone who would like to help build my site for me, weather we trade a detail plus cash for it or cash or what ever. I am computer retarded and need help It will be a basic gallery, info page, and anything else you think worth while, and also include a online store which I want to have up and running soon Regards, Mitch-
  13. Jonno, 303 aerospace is great! Little, thats exactly right as said above it dries out your vinyl and can lead to sun damage and cracks. regards
  14. Please done be serious ;P Baby wipes will dry out your vinyl and leather and lead to cracking and sun damage. same on the paint plus it will remove any LSP you have on the car. 303 Aerospace Protectant is the best in my oppinion and can be found at www.waxit.com.au also Bowdens Own Vinyl Care is great from bowdensown.com.au Ps Armorall sucks and has silicon witch can destory your vinyl over time and leave it greasy where as neither products I mentioned do. Regards, Mitch
  15. Manny where are you from? what makes you assume you will need a flow coat and the car is just not covered in shine robbing swirls? have a look at my site www.immaculatereflections.com.au and see some of the cars I have done. I reckong with out seeing the car a good detail is all you would need. this also means, car gone for ALOT less time, doesnt come back with buffer trails on it from the panel beater "buffing" it, its protected and cofferected properly with the best equipment and methods, and not many painters like "flow coating" its kind of like asking a detailer to "tidy up my engine bay" only if you get what I am saying so they take less pride in it. Regards, Mitch

  17. This detail was done for the owner of the E3's sister, I believe as a present, pretty good present I think The car came in and wasnt in hugely bad condition but could definatly do with a freshen up and correction. Products used: Bowdens Body Gel Bowdens Agent Orange Bowdens Tar and Bug on wheels Menzerna and Lake Country for polishing Zaino on leather 303 on interior Bowdens Naked Glass Zaino Z-16 Chem Guys Jetseal 2 layers of Swissvax Shield OPTI-GUARD on wheels The car on arrival, foaming, wash, and inspecting for major imperfections. Swirls yukky after. Some more imperfections including the scarf! A couple 50/50 shots Some afters, the car really has a great mettalic of purple, green, silver, and blue Luggage marks shown earlier GONE! Some afters mmm nice and shiny DAMN I love Shield! Thanks for reading and looking hope you enjoyed as much as I enjoyed doing the car! Regards, Mitch
  18. This is a detail for Anthony as one of the cars I am sponsoring for the Skyline Nationals. This car is a 90% dedicated track car as you will be able to tell from the battle scars! The purpose of this detail was to bring the car up to a respectable level where I will only need to give it a minor correction come nationals. So it is not a 100% correction. Products used: Bodwens Body Gel Iron-X Sonus Clay Bar Menzerna Intensive Polish and Final Finish on Lake Country Pads Wolfgang Souvereign Liquid Wax applied via DA on red pad Yupp! EEEEK chips and burns from sticky slicks throwing up rocks and also rubber! Getting there Some Final Shots Sorry this wasn't a big write up nor heaps of pictures but I was flat out as I had to do E3 R8 also this day with opti-guard! So stay tuned. Regards Mitch
  19. MODS please delete thread as I will create a new one with correct links
  20. I dont change fonts or resize any thing....I paste all my links in word type up the thread then copy and paste it in each forum. so Im confused, but in saying that Im not the most computer literate guy. On a side note with the forester thread the first one stuffed up I re did it exactly the same literally copy from word and paste again and it worked so it cant have anything to do with my links and post, it must have to do with your system. Maybe its picky some times? Yea Anthony just a gentle wipe over with a microfibre.
  21. Damn Pics not working AGAIN grrrrrr why always problems posting on here? I used the exact same links and format as I post it on 4 forums and only have a problem with this one!

  23. Opti-coat is a new form of "super" sealant. There are two type Opti-coat 2.0 a more user friendly version for the experienced enthusiast that is good but takes a while to harden. You cant get it wet for 3 hours after and it continues to harden over 2 weeks. Unlike other sealants it doesnt create a layer over the surface as a nano product does. A nano basicly creats a tichtly woven "blanket" over the finish, where as opti-coat acutlaly physically bonds to the paint. This means its doesnt wash away but has to be abrasivly polished off. Opti-guard is the next step up and for professionals only, its a highly concentrated version and alot harder once cured but also alot harder to work. I offer this but people tend to shy away due to the price associated, silly in a way as they will recoup it in the long run when they dont have to re book for a correction in 12 months. Regards, Mitch
