Hey mate! definately do-able, I have that setup on my r33 series 1. I too had the 400r fb with the indicators at the front but i thort it looked s**t, so moved them up to the parkers and installed angel eyes over the hi beam headlights as my parker lights, Looked the tits until the bals blew up!
Anyway i cut and soldered the wires to make it work. You will also need to get an orange globe otherwise your indicator is white. I suggest an led type would give you the best light. Also if the indicator is flashing to fast, i think it means you need a high watt globe.
I have heard that its meant to be illegal but i have had no issues in 5yrs!
