So I have a 1989 Nissan Laurel. Purchased it with an rb20det and swapped it out with an R33 Series 2 RB25DET. I had it running great as a stock motor in the Laurel. Everything had worked fine.
I recently had pulled the motor out to do a few things to it. RB26 ITB set up, Greddy timing belt, N1 Water pump, and a Nismo Twin Plate. I re installed the motor and plugged everything up.
The motor now just cranks over but won't start. After several hours of diagnosing it....I was able to get it to start.
I have to turn the Key to the ON position. Then unplug the 30A Ignition switch fuse in the engine bay and re plug it back in. Then I'll hear the fuel pump prime and the car will start.
I have tried replacing relays, checked all the wiring and the ignition switch. I AM STUMPED! I have spent all week trying to figure this out and have no clue what to check now.
Any ideas would be great.
Here are a few pics of my set up.
