Hi just a quick question. I own a 1994 r33 series 1 and my stalk is stuffed and it has the Fog light switch on it. Will a series 2 stalk with a fog light switch work perfectly fine on a series 1? cheers

i pulled it out and the part that sits near the steering wheel is brown. Do i need to get a new indicator? How hard is it to find one with the fog light switch like mine?

bump... it has just gotten worse. today it wont turn off the fast ticking unless im indicating then its normal. But when im not indicating its doing the fast ticking noise.... also i noticed a bit of smoke come out of there so i shut my car down really quickly. any ideas?

yea i have it on full settings. its weird that only the middle vents dont push out the air. even with the main dash area off it only pushes out a little bit of air.

Hi i have a little problem... For some reason no matter what ive tried i cant get any air to come out of the middle dash vents. Its as if its on low whilst the rest are on high? Every other setting works, but when on face setting only the 2 sides work and the middle vents push out air asif its on low and u cant even feel it. Ive looked under the steering wheel area and noticed that the hook thingy for the heater isnt on and fell off but that doesnt bother me. ive tried wiggling it around to see if it budges and no luck. Do i need to pull the whole dash apart to get to the dash vent? or is there anything i can do if i take out the cd player area dash fascia part? Also the car is a 1994 R33 4door.

Lately ive been having this weird problem where sometimes my indicators will make a fast ticking sound like one of my globes are blown after ive just used the indicator and the only way to stop it is to push the indicator stick up a little bit. When its ticking really fast the indicators aren't actually working. Seems to be happening allot more frequently aswell. Also none of the globes are blown because the indicators work perfectly fine.... its just randomly after turning a corner it will make the fast ticking sound. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

Hi im after a rear right seatbelt part for my r33 4door. for some reason it doesnt retract or pull the seatbelt out because the springs broken in it.... so im guessing i need a new one.

im running the speakers off the headunit. the previous owners had a crappy old kenwood headunit and cut the wires. Only thing i can think of is that the car use to have a factory amp but it was taken out? and theres only 1 place in town that does the audio installs and they are charging $100 for the install + if they need to run any new wires etc etc

Hi thought id ask here before i pay $150 for the audio shop to put the headunit in. I bought a JVC SHX855 headunit and for some reason no matter what i try i can't get any sound coming from the speakers? The headunit turns on etc etc and everything works within it but just no sound. My cars a 1994 r33 4door gts. But i tested something. if i run one of the headunits speaker wires through the blue/white cable on the headunit (its called amp turn on wire) i get sound? do i need to wire up the blue/white wire to something? I really don't want to pay $150 for the audio shops if its simply join it to a wire which is sitting right infront of me. Oh and the previous owners cut the wires so i don't have the original plugs which sucks.

bump. just need to know if theres any way to manually open the middle dash vents without having to take out the whole dash? i can feel the slightest bit of air coming out of the vents on full fans.

i think it has to do with the heater not blowing heat. that can wait since summers coming haha. in diagnostics mode u can hear the vent trying to open but it just doesnt want to open.... is there any way i can forcefully open the middle vents without having to rip open the whole dash?

would the PBR error code 26 have anything to do with the middle vent not pushing out any air? it pushes out the slightest bit of air on full and the sides are fine.

Another update. I pulled the front dash apart and found this hose just hanging here which is attached to the far left. What does this do? And i still haven't found the cause to the heater and middle dash vents problem.

hmm could be. only problem is that this never goes away no matter how long you drive. also the heater doesnt work.

ok bit of an update. bought a new climate control unit, didnt fix this pulsing sound. ran the diagnostics test and came up with no error codes? i can turn off the whole climate control system and when the cars running the noise is still there? The noise just doesn't go away no matter how long to drive lol. Any ideas?

little bit of an update. ive noticed that you can hear this pulsing sound coming from the dash at all time the cars on so im guessing something is stuck trying to open the middle dash vents? Could any1 lead me to where the vents open up?

wait so r33's take 4 globes aswell as the 2 parkers? 2 low beam and 2 high beam? (im use to commodores with H4 globes)

I guess ill take it down to a mechanics because i almost snapped the main dash piece fiddling around trying to work out the vents haha. but yea the sides and feet seem to work fine so i have no idea. Could it be the Climate Control system? because the off and auto buttons were broken so i ripped it out when i was checking the vents and just shoved some nailed in the holes for the time being until i buy a new unit. Made no difference with the centre vents though. Also the car only has 80,000km's so it surely couldn't have worn out after that long?

Hi im after a clutch fan for a series 1 r33 rb25de N/A and also the snorkel part of the standard airbox since for some reason when i bought the car it was missing the snorkel part to the bonnet. Willing to pay postage. Thanks.

i pulled off the dash thingy around the sterring wheel and then felt the vents without the main vents in the way. its blowing a slight breeze into it when on 4 on the climate control. So im guessing somethings blocking it behind the mesh?
