  1. Had a few people ask me if the loom adapter will work on their 33's. Unfortunately i cant answer that? Can 1 of you GTR heads answer this question? Also prices are ono so save your time and mine offering me $1100 or $1200 less than asking prices AS THATS NOT OR NEAR OFFER! ???
  2. Haltech 2500 Elite, Precision 6266 CEA GEN 2 Hey guys up for grabs is a Haltech elite 2500 with a patch loom by haltech to suit an R34 GTR. ECU has only been in the car for around 10000km max im sure anybody shopping around knows the capabilities of this top of the line ECU. $2800ono. Next up is a Ceramic ball bearing Gen 2 Precision 6266 turbo with a .84 twin scroll V band rear turbine housing. As you can see it has a 90° elbow welded onto the compressor cover so she's ready to bolt straight onto the side of an R. Peak boost ran was 24psi and was on the car for around 7000km max Perfect condition absolutely no shaft play or damage to compressor wheel or turbine wheel. $2100ono Items are located in Penrith area Western Sydney pick up preferred but happy to send anywhere at buyers expensive. Prices are open to negotiations and if you want both items I'm sure we can work out a good deal.

  5. The bonus of doing it the way i mentioned too is if you aren't happy with the 8374 (which i highly doubt) is that you can chuck the 9180 on without too much fuss! ?
  6. What are your power goals mate? Why are you having 2nd thoughts on the 8374? The 8374 is a beast of a turbo. If a street car id definitely recommend an 8374 with 1.05 rear. On a 2.8 you'll be getting a boot up the ass well under 4000rpm in 2nd gear and obviously sooner in higher gears. My mates 8374 3L combo is spinning all 4 265 ADO8R's at around 3700rpm in 2nd gear. It's f**king awesome!
  7. What's the 9174 going on Alex? Why not jump on the billet core something like 10lb of weight saving from memory?
  8. Why is 380kw boring? Id honestly challenge you to find a more snappy responsive 380kw than what a 7670 would provide? It would probably be best part of 500rpm more responsive than the the stock twins. Even in T3 open housing form lol ?
  9. So wastegate temps are big in mexico huh? Thought you blokes are all too busy staying stock so the cops dont ream your rectums? So wastegates shouldn't apply "bcoz not stock" ?
  10. I 100% agree with that statement. But "radiant heat" isnt gunna kill diaphragms mate. Its gunna be "operating temps" that kill them as such. I guess this is a case where you have to have faith in your chosen product huh?
  11. Oh dear seriously dude? ? So the 900+ degree gas flowing in 1 end and out the other isnt going to heat it up? Or the fact its bolted to a flange on a manifold when there is no gas flowing through it will be more than enough heat for it to radiate through it. Your gate or gates are ALWAYS going to be a similar temperature to your manifold as it's always going to be in contact with it and the exhaust gas.
  12. ^^^Correct! This is what these turbos are about! 99% of people arent going to buy an EFR for the drag strip! These things are all about on/off throttle type of stuff and the widest power/torque band you can just about have "in a turbo car" Nicks car (INTUNE) Is setup for hill climbs and fun in the hills as is Piggaz car. Although not EFR equipped yet Petes car was built around playing in the bends. If i ever scrape the funds together to get my car tuned & re registered then get the 7670 rocking thats what its all about!

  15. Pretty fair to say you're on a winner with an 8374 then Pete if a little 6262 with .84 rear is making similar power down low as a larger turbo with a much bigger turbine housing ? So your manifold is single gate Usmair? Does your brother run the same manifold? Are they both single gate setups? I think there is a little more to be had with a proper twin scroll twin gate setup ☺ Thanks for sharing some data too mate. I think you should give us a drive review between the 2 also ?

  19. Emtron is Scott from Insight motorsports own ECU. I would say it pisses on a haltech as you do not need to buy a box everytime you want your ecu to do something. I also believe it has alot more inputs and outputs etc also. Basically i believe an emtron is knocking on the door of high end motec kinda stuff feature wise without motec pricing ? Im sure someone can correct me if im wrong Lol!
  20. Engine is run in. Boost is currently held back as the speed sensor isn't operating currently so he's kinda capping it there for safety currently. He believes its pretty close to being all in as the most he has seen a 8374 make on his dyno is 480kw i believe he said.
  21. Yeah thats E85. No logs as the car is still in the shop man lol. Your car runs a 3" exhaust doesn't it? If so i honestly think that would be hurting your response a bit and will probably become alot more of an issue when u really start looking to put some more boost into it ? 3.5" minimum would probably help things quite a bit. We will try getting some vids up on the weekend when we go for a blast ?
