  8. They are a good thing Pete but the welding is crap. Not to say its not good enough to do the job but being a welder im pretty fussy and i think its substandard.

  11. So did they install and remove the manifold onto his motor with a f**ken blindfold on did they?! Look at the pics even Stevie wonder could see those cracks and holes! It took Jez 2 weeks because its sitting under the bonnet of a car now not sitting on an engine stand.

Thing is though you weren't looking at it on an Engine stand Mick you also didn't have your head under the bonnet while it was being flogged on the dyno (which clearly they didn't either as they would've heard the detonation and the exhaust leaks) They woulda had that thing on and off and woulda been holding the f**ker! Thats really poor form from those guys! Shows their lack of care! You can see clear as day where the gases have been pissing out of it. The number of cracks in it wouldn't of happened since Pete has had the car. The thing has been a mess for quite a while. I hope everyone that reads this thread takes their money and business elsewhere and tells all their mates to do the same!
  13. Was your current swiss cheese manifold a single gate Pete? Is Jez going to put a twin wastegate manifold on it? You will pick up some nice response gains having a proper twin scroll setup. I cant believe that those clowns at that last "workshop" didnt see that! Also surprised Mick didn't pick up on the leaks as ive seen the pics and its completely f**ked!

  15. Reality is that comparing a twins vs single setups via a dyno sheet is rubbish only real way you will compare is to drive them both. Drive them both back to back Then pass judgment. I tend to agree with Piglet as billet comp wheels really aren't gunna change the game a great deal more. My experience with GTX vs GT is response didn't improve with the billet wheel it just increased the compressors flow. Which is great if you have a large enough turbine that can actually flow the gases the compressor needs to run the higher pressures these billet wheels desire! The limitations are always gunna be the piss ant turbine housings on the twins. Single turbo simply exploits that fact and walks away from them everytime! Its funny how the twin guys get all cut and say "its not an accurate comparison" old tech vs new tech etc" but Hawkins drove the car and gave his views on how it ACTUALLY drove so how does that make it a shit comparison? You never drove the same car with 2 different setups to compare so how would you know?

  18. You're dreaming its not out of puff & i don't know how you're jumping to that conclusion?! As history repeats you can bet these blokes haven't done their job properly AGAIN! Odds are the boost control hasn't been played with properly or they have piss weak springs in the wastegates. But falling on its ass like that at 5500 isn't showing the 6262 being all in IMO pretty sure itd taper off more gradually then just drop off the planet like that. It is a 705hp turbo FFS and hes using over 500 of it currently.
