No the SS had Michelins on it mate I had invos on my 33 and they were impressive in the wet even with 450hp on the tar it would hook up on boost (for a little bit haha) If you can get the RS3s in the size you're after you won't regret them Marko they really are a great tyre! They are decent in the wet (not great) my evo can turn all 4 in the wet upto 3rd gear lol. Ask Paul about my car with the hankooks on lol the lunatic has tried EVERYTHING to get my car to step out?

I don't think tirerack do international shipping anymore Marko? Thats actually pretty cheap for the Michelins i think. Invos are a great tyre. But theres definitely better. You just after good dry grip for the weekender mate? Ive heard 1 guy on EvoOz who actually has a VE SS wagon he had it on the skid pan and claims he actually couldnt get the back out without any clutch on the pan. Which is pretty impressive in my eyes! I'm a massive fan of the RS-3 hankooks which are cheap for what they are. They are ALOT cheaper than AD08's and they'd be as grippy if not better from all reviews

R33 Gts-t Best Tyres For In The Wet?
Mick_o replied to Sickened's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Ive got Hankook Ventus 452s on the mrs car and also on my XR6 work ute which has an alloy tray and even in the wet in 1st gear the traction control light doesn't come on! Pretty impressive all rounders actually. They are quiet with very good grip wet and dry are reasonably priced. I also am not a fan of the KU36. The RS-3s shit all over them in all conditions and are also probably a bees dick quieter. But they aren't what you'd call quiet lol -
Hahaha at this guy! What a dick!

Running an ecu with an unknown tune on it is plain stupidity regardless of AFR's or whether it's not knocking! Whats the timing map look like? What octane fuel was it tuned on? If you cant answer these questions all the gauges in the world wont save your motor! Next question is will your tuner have the software to even look at the ecus current state of tune? So reality is you will need to chuck it on a dyno to find these things out yeah? By the time you pay a tuner to strap ya car to a dyno and look at your tune you may as well actually pay for a custom tune that is setup for your specific setup as it aint gunna cost that much more as the car is sitting on the dyno reasy to go! If you don't take this advice sell your skyline to somebody who deserves to own it as you clearly do not!

Looks Like Garrett Slipped Another Gtx30 Variant In .
Mick_o replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
With all due respect to Marks result & some possible bugs within his setup i think you're better off with a GTX3071R. My car had better response made more power everywhere than the 3067. I believe its simply too small of a turbo for a 25. Unless you plan on running WMI or E85 the .63 chokes 25's. Its a different story with 2L 4 bangers -
Id pass what a rort! Would buy an R35 & still have $40K to pump into it!

[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
Mick_o replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks for sharing your result Nick That curve is nice. But i was actually expecting more power everywhere with this turbo which definitely makes me suspect some restrictions in your setup. Love to see some pics and a mod list maybe we can help you troubleshoot? Was considering this turbo for my Evo when the low mount kit comes out. But i was looking for better response than my FP green but this seems a little laggier -
[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
Mick_o replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thomas why do you have all these EFR'S sitting around? Im Jelly as hell dude lol! Whys a 7163 too small for an RB Brett? Its bigger than the trusty 3071R which is a damn popular choice on an RB25? Can't see how a 600hp turbo could possibly be "too small" -
Do Evo 6 Fuel Injectors Fit Evo 7?
Mick_o replied to Deza3000's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Unfortunately i can't answer your question directly about the injectors between models but i can tell you the size of the injectors won't matter too much. Obviously as long as they aren't too small. Plenty of plug & play injectors available for the evos Dez no reason you couldn't throw some ID1000/Bosch 1000s for around $400 brand new Should be able to screw closer to 250kw on E85 with the stock turbo too mate so good luck -
