  1. Well you will know when it turns up before I do lol
  2. I DO!
  3. Lol umm no sti gearboxes are made of glass good luck pushing 200+kw through 1 lol. I make about 260-270kw with the stock evo 9 turbo with 26psi on E85 & im still using the stock clutch in my evo with no dramas.
  4. ^^^Hahaha^^^ At piggy that is! Mick jumped in before me lol
  5. Would depend on the size of turbo id imagine. The bolt on Evo turbos FP make use an 3.25" anti surge inlet their largest bolt on turbo the black which is an 82mm compressor (GT35 territory) yanks are pulling 750+ "American hp" outta these badboys & 8 second passes (I think) So I guess it would be fine for anything upto GT35... Any bigger than that im not so sure.
  6. Hey no arguements about the soundtrack! Thats only cos its a 2.6L though
  7. I 100% agree with that mate nothing says gtfo of my way like a GTR does on the road and on the track too! I might be slightly biased to an evo owning 1 But pretty much all my mates own gtrs and i LOVE THEM so dont think im hating on GTR'S for a second here but im sorry reality is an evo is a better track car.
  8. Lol hey Mr world record im talking 100% stock here No tuning etc!
  9. A stock gtr vs stock evo umm yes an evo is leagues ahead. .. A Stock GTR is a nugget
  10. Come on Mick put the ego aside and quit the personal attacks mate!
  11. So did you push the car through some corners? Understand if you didn't as its not your car On tighter tracks an evo is leagues ahead. On a more open track the Big R will lay waste to an evo HP pending of course lol
  12. Oh yeah sweet have you driven it in the hills? Does it have decent suspension or near stock?
  13. Just wondering if you have driven an evo before Anthony? Cause while I do agree that it doesn't take much to getting a GTR to handle well a cheap nasty set of coilovers still wouldn't bring it up to spec with an evo with a rear sway bar and some swift springs on stock struts.
  14. Lol @ all the power mods talk! What about making the car balanced & handle? Big power aint gunna win the races corner speed is and that's where the evo shines! Evo will probably cost a lil more for the initial purchase but will cost alot less to make it faster around a track
  15. Haha you read my mind!
  16. Haha can still taste that chicken roll & kebab you owed me after owning you! What I loved most was it was sauce on it it was WIN flavoured
  17. Lesson learnt mate custom is best cause you end up getting all the junk reductions out and you only have to do it once
  18. Just depends how competitive you wanna be? I love both cars and own an evo 9 & NOTHING corners like it! My 1st track day ever I was 5th fastest lap of the day in my 1st timed session ( popped a cooler hose 2nd session and it started to rain before my 3rd session) & the fastest on street tyres I believe.... Not bad for an amateur and a stock turbo A 200kw evo feels like a 300kw gtr performance wise in street trim imo Waiting to be flamed now lol
  19. How far off is the tune mate?
  20. Take it to an exhaust shop and go custom saves faaaarkin around with rubbish jap systems that are all reduced anyways!
  21. Thats a damn solid result with 5's on a 2.6L Marko nice area under the curve! Looks like a blast to drive. Was at unigroup when your car was on the dyno and and they were just starting to add 98 to the mix... Very nice car mate
  22. Love to mate! back half is easier to get to when ya don't have a hoist lol
  23. Yeah Paul summed it up pretty much mate if you give him everything and organise the fittings I can make it happen for you
  24. Lol im anyones for the right price so relax son
  25. Another happy customer Glad to hear ya happy with the boys work Marko sounds like they got her purring nicely for you and you made great numbers also.. I can help you out with a surge tank if you like mate?
