  6. Removed the factory pipe in the guard and ran all my own pipework and eliminated the join in the inner guard and made it 1 join up in the engine bay so no more pesky unaccessable hoses

  13. You take 5th gear out cos the 2.6L doesn't have enough torque to turn 5th gear

  15. Smaller components and more revs = faster? Pistons in a dragsters are probably the size of small saucepans. Guess they don't rev or go fast then?

  18. Still don't get this "rev harder" philosophy? What do extra revs get you anyways? It doesnt necessarily increase your power range and im sure that an engine that makes power sooner and doesn't need to be spun as hard would probably be more reliable in the long run. Especially in track circumstances!

  23. ^^^ this! ^^^ Even a 2.8L feels leagues ahead over a 2.6L! Haven't driven a 3L to be honest but its worth it for turbo response & off boost power
