  1. Thats no GTX mate, you've been ripped off! Time to approach this "mechanic"
  2. Its true that the ethanol content can vary a fair bit but if the tune is safe on the highest content of ethanol eg united stuff can go up to e90 anything thats got more petrol in it eg e70 etc your car will only run richer which wont hurt your engine anyways. Mate speak to Yavuz at unigroup engineering give him your car and never worry about ethanol content or any of the other rubbish these other "tuners" have been feeding you Hes tuned both my cars both drive amazing have great fuel economy and have NEVER died
  3. +1 for new tuna! Lol ive ran both my 33 & now my evo 9 on eflex without a ethanol content sensor without a drama EVER
  4. Fair call mate I understand oh yeah kelford cams. Another option is adaptronic ecu great value for money and an Aussie product I believe. Having a good ecu is the icing on the cake man just seems crazy as sounds like you've spent decent coin on the rest of your setup then not going for a decent computer sometimes not skimping out in the 1st place can be cheaper than doing it twice when ya car doesn't run how you'd expect after you outlay good dollars. I dont know what a nistune upgrade is worth these days but for a few hunge more up front the outcome will be much better.
  5. Depends on your cam sizes if you're running poncams they work with VCT. Do you know if you are running cam gears on inlet and exhaust? Can I ask what your budget is for the ecu?
  6. Id ditch the nistune for the 33 mate my car never ran quite perfect with it plus using the RB20 ecu stops you using VCT from memory which you will want if ya running a GT35. Mine was a Z32 ECU. Id recommend picking up a power fc on the cheap if you can. If you got a bit of coin to splash out get a link G4 my car ran awesome with the link. Tuner I would recommend is unigroup engineering at Girraween
  7. +1 for eucalyptus oil works a treat on sticky shit
  8. Brakes sold. Mods close thread please
  9. Agreed with the above go smaller cams and keep vct its gunna go much better off boost and bring boost on better
  10. LOL run in pressure 28psi thats epic! Bring on 55psi for the win!
  11. Finally gave the Z222 Hankooks a workout yesterday and I can say they are the grippiest tyres I have ever used. Pretty impressed and happy for the $$$
  12. Its gunna be a very tasty package when you get her burning some ethanol mate
  13. The nitto invos are a great tyre they put my 336rwkw to the ground nicely Got my Hankook Z222 on the evo yesterday. They are not overly noisey and they didn't make the steering feel as twitchy as it felt with the dunlop SP MAXX that were on it and they did make my steering feel a lil heavier and made turn in a little more progressive. Havent tested them out in the twisties yet though. Hopefully tonight
  14. A very talented poet indeed ^^^
  15. Mate I dont think cams would help a great deal either maybe 10 -15kw max?? You are kinda at a crossroad with your setup as its pretty much maxed out on 98. If you want more now outta your setup E85 it (which isn't an option for you) or go for a bigger setup IMO but then that inroduces lag which clearly you're not a fan of lol Id suggest shooting Stao from hypergear a pm and tell him what you're looking for
  16. A GT35R wouldn't fit on the stock manifold I woulda thought lol. When Mr po po puts his flashing lights on and wants to look under your bonnet looking stock would probably be quite appealing I woulda thought the lil .50 comp would choke but then again XR6's run them on GT35's Wolverine has already tried picking up response with a twin scroll 3076 on his car and the gains were very minimal for the outlay.
  17. Agreed^^^ I made 336kw on the standard low mount manifold with a bolt on internally gated GTX3071R on E85. If you got e85 nearby upgrade your fuel system and re tune for porn juice. You stay looking stock under the bonnet and meet your power goal and if your setup is well sorted maybe squeeze in 350kw.
  18. You will need a .70 compressor housing mate and I maybe wrong but I didn't know 6 boost does a split pulse T3? I think Tial do a stainless steel divided rear which you would want a .82.What fuel do you plan to run as 330kw is probably getting to the upper limits of its flow so doubt you will have too much head room for power.
  19. What an amazing looking Z car . Sorry to hear bout the 30 throwing in the towel
  20. Im getting a set of Hankook Z222 RS-3's put on the evo tomorrow. Currently running Dunlop SP MAXX and they are quite a good all round tyre though they don't last long. Bought my car with them on with around 60-70% rubber and ive done around 7000km now and they are on the wear markers already. Will report back with my thoughts after ive carved up some hills.
  21. Haha only a squid on dirty petrol though
