Ok so im not gunna make any substantial power gains with a power fc then? Best off just keeping the nistune and getting it re-tuned when i get my injector and turbo upgrade then? Can i get some opinions of good RB25 tuners in sydney who can work wonders with my nistune?

RB20 ecu or Z32 ecu? i honestly dont know it was installed and tuned by croyden racing in sydney thats all i know unfortunately

Hi guys im wondering if there is much difference in the tunabilty of the nistune as apposed to the power fc? Im running a nistune at the moment with stock turbo and all the bolt ons and im currently making 272hp@thewheels or 203kw@thewheels with 12psi boost Im getting ready for a turbo upgrade a hks 2835 kai and just wondering if there is any advantages going to a power fc over my nistune?

Hey Cal i have seen ya pics of what u have done so far. think ill get another housing machined up without the surge slots like you have done i hope the dyno is kind to ya mate cause i can see you are doing ya homework on it im thinking of a way how to fill in the counter sunkholes where the housing bolts onto the front of the turbo too maybe with a metal putty or something???? but im kinda scared of the putty not bonding properly and sucking it through the turbo

Well i hope that they arent a poorer performer because i bought 1 hahaha! I just cant imagine hks making this turbo less effective than the older kit as HKS always do their homework with their turbos (in the past at least!) If anybody has any news on their Kai turbos please let me know THANKS

Thats right i remember the pro S does come with the dump pipe wonder if the rear housing is smaller? I WANT A PRO S

Ive just bought a HKS 2835 Kai which is due for delivery this time next month and im wondering if anybody has figured out why they arent producing good hp figures like the Pro S Does anybody know whats difference between the the 2 apart from the less torque and slightly more power and the surge slots in the front of the housing???

TIll middle of next August ive got my 550cc sard injectors and malpassi rising rate regulator waiting to go! I hope Jim from croyden racing does a good job on the tune for me when the turbo comes I will post my dyno sheets when it gets tuned

No i havent ordered it yet and yes i can see its not looking good at this stage for the Kai kit! Not compared to the Pro S! Im keeping my eyes peeled in here to see what the outcome is with this drama with the power figures. i maybe have too much faith in HKS thinking that they couldnt of gone that wrong with the Pro S replacement cause the pro s was a monster!

Gday Cal been reading up about your 2835 Kai hope you have some good luck getting it right id like to know how u go with it mate cos im getting the same kit through streeter its due this time next month. Id like to know what kinda figures you make when you get it dyno tuned mate hopefully its something simple i cant imagine that HKS could of gone too far wrong with this kit considering how good the Pro S was for the RB25s Please keep us posted on what you come up with mate CHEERS Mick

Hey fellas thanks for the feedback Arthur i agree they are pricey mate. jesse quoted me $2687 delivered to sydney for a GTRS kit. GCG quoted me $2900 for a 3071R kit and there is more work installing the garrett! More $$$ if you want someone to install it for you too so the Hks looks on the money and its bit more responsive than the garrett everybody in here seems to think! Joey i was looking for max 270kw@wheels with max response so see how i go getting a 2835 Pro S kit from Jesse cos i know they dont make them anymore a bloke on ebay want $3800 for a kit and im not paying that! Heard people saying they are having problems with compressor surge with the new 2835 kai kit which replaced the Pro S hope they find whats wrong as they have excellent response like at 16psi at 3250rpm which is tops for a 423ps turbo! Please keep me posted on the issues with the new HKS 2835 KAI turbo guys id appreciate the feedback!!!!
