NSW in regards pre 1989 scheme. if u put a later model engine in it. it has to meet the standards of today? is that correct? zz

hi, My datsun comes with the original l24. My goal at the moment is the rb i have sitting at home to ne in there by mid next year. With the car being over 30 years old what are the perks in regards to emissions etc. Has never been registered here. would it make a difference if i register with the l24 and then put in the RB or should i do this frst and say it came like that? im not too sure, and just curious on this. any help would be great. Im assuming it would be easier to get complied with the factory engine. just thinking if i can just say it came as is and they will let it pass. cheers

If you want more power strap on a bigger turbo n ur done. my loss is ur gain. finish this car and enjoy it. why buy a stock gtr for 20k and then pump 10-15 k into work. its already been done here. get a mechanic to come look at the work if you want. do some reasearch and look up the costs of all these parts and then get a quote for labour. you will see how quickly it adds up if you do this your self notes: will come with standard wheels with rubber that needs replacing interior - driver seat is a bit torn but still ok many more things included ie. boost controllers etc but im only noting the major things. come have a look for yourself, ill be giving away everything if sold at asking price. this includes spares, turbo timers, boost controllers, bee r limiters , oil relocator kit, oil cooler . many many more parts to list CAR HAS BEEN TUNED ON E85 ON 15TH NOVEMBER 2013 by SMD Workshop by ZEN 412.5kwatw. papers and videos to prove. come have a look for yourself if genuinely interested. no test pilots unless deposit is taken. trying to keep costs to a minimum =\ and buying another engine would be abit pricey.. esp fr rocky auto, and then id have a stock one to sell.. stock ones arent so easy to sell either. ive tried.

Hi, Most will probably say what the f**k are you doing. but yes, i do want to convert my rb26dett to a 26de. Reasoning: just finish the build on my 32gtr, and i want to enjoy that. however, i still have a standard rb26 sitting around....along with a standard 72' datsun 240z...so that should clear it up abit more. I dont ever plan on selling the s30 and im tossing up between keeping it original l24 or going rb. my reasoning towards the rb conversion is that since i dont plan on selling it and keeping the L24. i might as well go all out... What kind of things would need to be done to convert the standard rb26 to a na screamer. im awayre of the pistons to up the compression. but any thing else?

any cuistom work required to mount on a r32? i.e brackets etc?
