If a car is complied in SA will it pass in NSW?

I was just wondering we bought a car that didn't have a compliance plate and wasn't registered as a v8! We are currently going through the process to get it all done it now just has to go for an rta this week! If it's passed in SA for an rta and given papers saying it complies her in SA will it pass in NSW???
