Hi there, I went and picked up a Manual 4WD gearbox for my Stagea on Saturday night, and I would like to know what car it was originally from. It came out of a 4WD R32 that had been converted to RB25DET. So I have a 9 bolt flywheel to go with it, but am curious to find out if the car it was in had a gearbox conversion too. Are there any codes on the gearbox that would tell me what it is and where would I find these codes?

Sounds like alot of work for less power. Too bad your not in NZ or I would of swapped you a non turbo Stagea or just the engine etc.

Ok, maybe i'll just wait for a RS4 to come into my partners work and do an engine swap. They don't come in very often though and i'd like to manual it ASAP.

So you managed to convert the 4WD to RWD? Would your setup be ok for a daily driver? Here is what happened to my poor Stagea http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/423750-stop-sign-runners-and-new-project/ . My new one is 4WD but i'm very interested in converting it if possible. My partner works at a wreckers yard so I have access to parts if I need them.

Blonde moment maybe but i'm definitely not blonde,at least the last time I checked I wasn't lol. I think Bob answered some of my questions on Skylines Downunder, he said its not really practical to change to RWD. I can't decide between +t, +tt or a supercharger. With turbos would I have to change anything like injectors etc? And how much can a RB25DE handle?

Well my 1997 RWD Stagea isn't looking too good after someone failed to stop at a stop sign. . . Just after I had almost finished modifying it So I bought another Stagea while i'm waiting for Insurance to be sorted out. Its a 1999 4WD (I think the registered year is wrong as it seems like a S1 to me) that needs a bit of work. I'm going to get a GTR gearbox and do a manual conversion, I've been told that its not good to try and convert it to RWD so i'll just leave it as is and might +t it later. I had some questions but have now forgotten them, i'll post them when I remember

R33 manual conversion and soon getting new wheels and a paint job

There is room for the foot brake next to the clutch but the clutch is using the foot brakes mounts

My Stagea had a R33 manual conversion done yesterday but I was wondering if there is any way to keep the foot hand brake instead of a normal handbrake? I don't really want to modify my gear surround and I liked the foot brake better.

I'm getting my 1997 Stagea re-painted. I want to get it painted black but not sure about having flakes or pearls in the paint. I was thinking maybe black with chrome pearl if that possible but I can't decide. Any suggestions on what to add to the black paint?

Hi Everyone, I just went to the petrol station to fill up my Stagea but the petrol cap won't release. The car was unlocked and i kept pressing the release lever but its not working. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks
