  2. yeah i have to use my scissor jack to lift a corner a tiny bit before sliding the jack under to use the crossmember, stupid returnflow cooler
  3. i think people are going to need to know your mods to the car
  4. ummm i think late last year somewhere around sept oct.
  5. i got a 100cell 5" body cat, with 3" inlet and outlet, was told it was a direct bolt on, for r33 and 180 apparently take the same cat... i connected mine up with a jjr tront/dump but didnt fit, the dump pipe needed to be heated and twisted, and flanges aligned to fit, thought it was just my car as the exhaust shop said it was the front dump rather than cat, but my bro with his 180 had the same prob, so i think they had an issue with their cats, i did contact george about it and he was really good,, he said he'd look into their design, even though it wasnt a direct bolt on im still really happy with it.
  6. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/55845-rb25-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/ that will tell you everything
  7. i think that one is a member on here, pretty sure its a s2 front bumper with a viva garage front lip and i think they are 4 door fogs and indicators
  8. ah k my bad, mine came with my car just assumed.... this is pretty much what ive gone for, when i went to get a roadworthy though the mid muffler was removed, had a hole in it and was making my car too low later on went with jjr front dump and spoke with the guy from venom and ended up with they 5" body 100cell i think but i did have an issue with mine and my brothers (we bought 2 of the cats) was told they were same on the 180 and r33 but when mine was bolted up, wouldnt fit, the frontdump had to be twisted to make the flanges meet up correctly, thought it was just an issue with mine when my brother got his fitted, same thing although his fix was just to reflange the cat... dont know what was the issue but i did speak to him again and he said he'd recheck his cats also reimbersed me for some of the coin for having to modify it. but overall with that setup its still really quiet
  9. as people have said, your boost may rise a touch from an exhaust, mine has gone from 7 up to 9psi just with exhaust, FMIC and pod. the HSK super dragger is a pretty exhaust, but is a cannon
  10. yep you wont have that problem, just maybe a small trim of your reo bar, maybe...
  11. there are threads, just usually difff brands, but all similar. if you put something like fmic install and skylinesaus it should come up with heaps, you might have to cut reo bar, i had to for my just jap one. if its not a return flow you will need to cut a hole for piping on the drivers side. having said that the blitz should be one of the easiest to install
  12. hmmm interesting, i didnt really look at the throttle body that closely recently when i was doing the rocker cover seals, how much was the throttle body?
  13. yeah itll be arse to ankles back there... but it is more comfy than a 180!
  14. when i bought mine it had the centre belt for 5 seats, i think when they are imported they are done as a 4 seater, when i bought mine and got a road worthy done here in launnie i had to remove the belt otherwise they wouldnt pass me
  15. oh rub it in... jelly
  16. the 35 is no doubt a crazy fast car, but ive always loved the bnr34 the most since i was a kid, so thats my choice, in bayside blue, or black
  17. was suppose to post this last week, does anyone here own or know who owns the black 32 with work xt7s, might have had custom plates but cant remember it also had the rear of the bonnet spaced? i saw it leaving bob jane
  18. once again unfortunately its a no from me
  19. well that was a bit of a pain in the arse to change... not hard just removing everything. i had trouble getting the coilpack cover back on properly, ended up losing one screw and not able to get one more back on... :S
  20. thanks yeah ive ended up with bcp6res, and i decided on the -11 as im only upto 9psi atm just have to find a day to do everything now
  21. yeah i did read a few threads that said they really arent worth going into the more exxy iridiums ect... and yeah i did look at the price difference vs how they compare
  22. ok thanks yeah thats what sorta got me confused between the two, i think i read in there that one 'neck'/bit that sticks into the coilpack is longer.... am i right in putting the gasket glue only on the half moon curved piece? and the rest is fine to leave
  23. yep thats what i read, just saw they had BKR6EYA and someone else had BCPR6ES but i think ill just stick to the bkr6eya
  24. right so i wansnt imagining things, i thougth it was something like that
  25. so when finally get round to changing my rocker cover gasket im gonna change my spark plugs too, ive been reading around and looking on the ngk website they recommend, pfr5g-11, but ive read a lot of people just go with coppers - bkr6eya and im assuming once again -11 would that model in the coppers be the right ones for me? all i have is turbo back, and front mount. aslo with the rocker cover gasket the half moon, when using gasket glue do you only put it on the curved edge, not flat? also wanted to go the drifts... damn work
