  3. yeah it was interesting hearing his radio comments as the issue unfolded, asking calmly for what to do... and then when the shit hit the fan he looked at the bigger picture and just wanted to limp around, most drivers so far get angry and just want a fix....

  8. i think that would be amazing... yeah what annoyed me is that williams decided to aim for 3/4 and not bother covering the mercs... pretty much let them win and manage their cars reliabilty easier...

  10. yeah i did think perez had moved in the braking zone, but the camera angle which would have been good was the massa onboard which cuts out right when it all happens... but also massa maybe should have moved further left too

  14. yeah definately he was so close with a couple of mistakes, so yeah rosberg's gonna have to pull something out of his arse.... hamo has said going out last was prob not a good idea getting caught up in traffic.... maldanado reprimand for not putting his steering wheel on... hopefully williams can have a good race!
  15. check for vac leaks check TPS voltage clean afm clean AAC valve i had sort of similar issues but mainly when car was hot. turns out my TPS voltage was off and yeah quick search will give you diy's ect for all you need to know

  18. i dont know if this will help. but i had the cold start issues way back when this was started, on stock ecu, i never found a fix for it. i changed to a Power FC and tuned and then had a diff prob, whether its from the same issue or not i dont know. but what would happen is it wouldnt start first go would splutter and die, then be fine next start This is cold start btw. then when i would be lazy and put the clutch in but not down change it would rev hunt but not stall. also hot starting would give the same rev bounce. i had looked around trying to find others having the issue and noticed there is a sensor check on the Power FC looked at it and noticed my TPS was at 0.35v which is low anywhere from 0.45-0.5v is what you should be aiming for. so today i adjusted it and it has been near perfect!!! fingers crossed so maybe you guys might want to check it out. Like i said it may have no relevence to these issues, ive forgotten the specifics of everyone posting, just my own. If you guys are running stock ecus you can still check the voltage just need a multimeter, there are a few threads around, you may just need to find the correct wire.... hope it helps
  19. so i adjusted the tps to 0.45v and it looks like ive fixed the hunting on clutch in and hot start, but ill drive it round for a couple of days before saying its 100% fixed. also for anyone else thats gonna try i pretty much stripped the screws and had to use vice grips to loosen them first. i think ill also do the idle reset soon too
  20. also so if i go ahead with adjusting my tps will it affect anything to the tune? will i have to get it on a dyno to check out AFRs?
  21. cheers guys, i think i might adjust the tps to reflect 0.45v or slightly above and go from there, maybe have to look at cleaning afm and aac again. but yeah seeing as though everything ive read has said my voltage is low might be a good starting point
  22. yeah did that, turned it to roughly 750 was going between 730-880ish there abouts and then plugged it back in, started and it was hunting for ages(10secs didnt normalise till i took the key out and timer was counting)so that didnt help unfort if anything made it worse
  23. power fc yeah just weird that its fine most times, but only when started hot it will hunt for a couple of seconds, if i clutch in from about 2.5k and above and keep my foot on the clutch it will drop to 500 and up and down for a couple of secs then fine, just figured the tps needs adjusting as a start as its slightly low
