Oh and also just heads up for others, I wired mine so that my front and rear speakers are playing off the front RCA port and the sub is off the Rear RCA port in the headunit. means I dont have a difference between front and rear sound at the moment, but means when I fade all the way to the rear I just get the sub, neat little trick will probably end up wiring it back so that front and back are in their respective ports and split the rear port for the sub also

Ha well im semi afraid to say I went with the 6x9's but they have worked out well, got an 800w amp powering them and the 6's up front and they sound great and crisp also got a 10" sub powered by just a 222W amp at the moment which goes well but lacks the power at louder volume so upping the amp for that soon

Ha well I believe you have sold me that if I want more power turbo is the way to go. and a new car meant for turbo is the way to go there. As for the oil might just check with SCA then as me and my mate were planning on doing a complete oil change and new oil filters in our cars next weekend I think

Well that would be a better option to look for i reckon Yer I get the idea of a coupe but i like to cart people and my bike around Oh thats allright I cant imagine Id be trying to push a max PSI out of it, Id keep it close to how it was made =] But with the oil this leads to another question, what do you guys use? last time I did a change I believe it was 10-40 semi synthetic? is there a certain type I should be using?

Is that a normal stock turbo PSI or do they change significantly depending on model make and manufacturer? Ha I like to test my car out so to say but always make sure its well looked after. It was a brief ponder before i heard a yelp from my wallet, still soemthing to look into though I do suppose

Ahh so its sort of budget and what you prefer as to what you get? ha well I believe I have some thinking to do as to which road I take, have always loved the practicality of the 4 door, but that may have to go PS what kind of PSI do the stock RB25DET's run at? And is it more expensive to run and maintain a turbo? Just trying to make the right decision

Just as update quite liking the look, havent carpeted it yet, but am looking into sealing off the boot sides for 2 8" subs and then having a rectangle flap (this time carpeted) to cover spare wheel. Just an Idea at the moment but will post pictures up if I follow through. MDF holds strong for the sub also just make sure your car doesnt leak

Fair enough. As a mini side question then. In Australia where do you buy your cars? do you go through dealers or importers or through auction sites? I got mine of trademe (essentially an auction site in NZ). Ive heard stories importers were cheap, but never found a site with solid facts

Got my Full Licence, currently an ex Aussie in New Zealand but theres no more further licensing for me. That would be good to hear of if he reports back id love to hear it, my dif has played up before and its stopped me giving it some round corners at the moment.

I'll be honest it is relieving to hear this. Right so so far general consensus is get turbo car. Are there reasons to why youve both gone for the "buy turbo car" not "buy turbo engine"? I'm relatively new to the in's and outs of this so I wasn't sure

Haha ok slight budget is really irrellevant if Im honest. And as much as I know Turbo would give me more power easier id love to stick to N/A so checking out my options there. if it seems like id still be throwing money for no return then Ill look into turbo engine for my car or normal turbo skyline

I got an r33 GTS4 same stock engine Ive got no problem getting to 170 and then it just seems to crawl at snails pace up and ran out of road . . . errr track so slowed at 175. I think mines a fair bit weightier but I had always thought that would mean less accelaration and wouldnt affect top speed as much. I know its not alot to many people but ive always wanted to hit 200.

Hey guys bought my first car not to long ago a 1995 R33 GTS4 which to be fair has a lot more power than my mums old corolla I used to drive, but after finishing off the sounds department of my car im starting to feel as though I want more from my engine. Ive got an RB25DE thats all stock and its at about 190,000k's. Ive considered getting a newer engine with lower k's but would this increase power or just life of the car? Is there a way I could slowly replace parts that would increase performance and increase its life? Any kind of information is helpful on a slight budget but willing to consider all Cheers

Just went for a temporary piece of 12mm MDF at 85cmX63cm. Fits in with ease but stays snug, Ive a feeling later on when budget permits I'll go for the proper template and fix it in with a hinge just for ease of use and a cleaner look

Ha desperately hoping its a sensor of sorts, front diff has allready been replaced once, not keen to do it again. And from what I know the GTS4s do not have HICAS
