Sweet went for the 6" got some nice clean crisp sound going on, next step bass =]

Awesome Panel Filter dropped in and now for the sake of it im looking at increasing the air flow towards it as at the moment i feel like the slot it gets air from is to small? Are there better ways to look at getting air to flow through the box or is the next step to look at a new box to sit the filter in?

Points to the people who said diff, aparently the front diff blew up, i legitimately havent been going that hard so gave a stern look to the guy I bought it off, and moved forward to getting it fixed. Seems to turn out that the ratio for my car is different to other skylines, so the diff was harder to track down? Are there any other parts that people know of that are especial of the 1995 GTS4 only? cause if im looking to put it all back together it might pay to search in advance for parts that will be harder to find. cheers guys

Right well my 95 GTS4 seems to be laden with problems but just recently whilst driving along at a non stressing speed of 70k's my car made a slight bang and then started clunking every few metres, Its sort of a metallic clunk that Ive semi narrowed down to the gear box area. having said that i could be wrong, i was wondering if anyone may have a better idea of whats happened or if its happened to them? And whats likely to be involved, getting towed to the garage this weekend for a proper diagnosis but if its something i can avoid thats great. Right, so 6's is the general consensus? other than the installing problem im not to sure what the problems are with the 6x9s though? anyone then have some suggestions on the type of speakers to go for, is branding etc merely going to be personal preference

Ok ill be honest im new to this whole thing so ive not to much idea whats going on, but from the brief words i looked at it wouldnt so much be a switch to toggle 4wd and rwd just a permanent change to rwd?

Purely for w@nk factor, anyone know where I could get a fighter style switch? like where you have to pop a cap before the flip can be switched?

Touche, not exactly an ideal thing to search for scraps of pod in the engine!

Hey I'm looking at putting some 6 by 9s in the parcel tray of my car and after much searching I believe I've found how to move the rear seat out of the way. but what i was wondering is are the rear speakers are 6 by 9? or if they are 6's? and then what am I going to need to do if I want to change them to 6 by 9's? Cheers in advance guys!

Cheers I put it in neutral and it will sometimes go away but not all the time? ive been hoping on the DIY method but I have a feeling im not going to get very far and should just get it checked well in a garage to save it!

Ha well then is there a difference between brands? or i suppose my question is how big is the difference between brands? like will you get more power or better sound from one? is it personal preference? and if there isnt much difference whats to stop me from getting a cheap ass one?

Haha reasonably spot on about how my mates are telling me all sorts of things! just new to the whole thing so trying to get as much information as possible before going out and wasting money away. Had the same problem with my GTS-4 found out the rear wheels were slightly smaller that the front so it kept thinking the rear wheels were slipping out. So I bought some new back tyres and got them all aligned and balanced and now it runs like a charm

Ive been looking around at getting a POD filter for my RB25DE and thought id nail two birds with one stone. First of all what size am I meant to be looking for I haven't seen a straight answer to that yet. Also everywhere I look says they are for race purposes only? surely this isn't right and im looking in the wrong places! Hey cheers checking the tyres, but what confused me the most is that the light will come on and it'll steer to the left even at 50k when im not speeding or accelerating just driving normally?

Just recently bought an 1995 GTS-4 which is going well except the slip light likes to come on from time to time even whilst going straight and try to pull the car left. I dont mean to sound ignorant but what's going on and how can i fix it. its a bloody pain Am i able to disengage it or fix it?
