Not easy to find a Standard RB20 actuator, have been looking for 2 months now, can buy a whole motor but not an actuator.

Is it possible to modify a standard rb25DET wastegate actuator to an adjustable item, that will able to adjust boost levels.???? Has anyone done this? If so, will the factory two stage boost controller have to be disconnected? Will it be capable of maintaining stable boost levels?
