  1. Was this a reply to my question? Sorry mate theres no information about actually turning off the sound at start up. There is information about turning off alarms at revs and boost pressures. Good try mate and thanks for your help. If anyone else has anything constructive would be muchly appreciated.

    Help!

Hey Daniel. What inspection station did u take ur car to? What boost controller do you have. I have a FMIC too, the inspectors didnt have a problem with yours? Did they end up just doing the anti tampering and noise test or check over the whole car? Sorry mate for all the questions, but this OEH letter is a mess.
  3. Hey mate did you have a frount mount at all? Im going in for the same inspection just concerned as i also have a front mount. Did they only do the exhaust test as they said or did they take the liberty of looking all over car?
  4. Hey mate was wondering if you could possible PM me or let me know your experience with the campbelltown stations. Went to an exhaust place the other day and theyve only said bad things hey

  6. When you guys start up your car and the eboost turns on, does it make a little start up tone like a ringtone? if so would you guys know how to turn it off?
  7. Hi all, Don't know if I'm in the right forum here but will give it a crack. I was pulled over by a cop a couple of weeks ago. No defect just have to get the car inspected. Few questions: 1. The green form cops gave me listed: excessive noise and pod filter fitted. The form I got from Office of Environment Heritage (OEH) has listed only exhaust to be tested. Will they "check" pod? 2. I'm in the western sydney area, Campbelltown to be specific. Does anyone at all have a stock exhaust or cat to borrow? Would anyone know if changing from high flow to stock cat, would that reduce noise? FYI: *The car is tested at 4800 revs, 90 DB for a pass. Revved it to 5000 and got 96-97DB. *Xforce high flow cat *Kakimoto 06regu *Pod in enclosed box
  8. Hey guys I have 2 x 1 Gallon Redline lightweight shockproof left over. If anyone wants them 100 bux each. I'm in Campbelltown area.

  10. Found it guys. Seeing as it's due for 100k service. It was the front crank seal and the leak behind near the lines from the turbo was actually old oil from the crappy rocker cover seals. So now putting it into shop for 100 k service!
  11. Would anyone know what part this is if I were to replace it?
  12. Alright no worries ill give that a try. Yes ithas been tuned?
  13. So I've been leaving oil on my driveway. After some long inspection I have 2 oil leaks: 1. Power steering 2. Oil leak from block to turbo I know the oil pressue gauges are fairly in accurate but I've noticed it was low at times. Check pic. That was on idle as I pulled into driveway after 15 minute drive. But it is often at that pressure most of the time at idle. So the leak is running from one of the braided lines, from turbo to the block. I've read in other "oil leak articles" that it is common for seals to break down after an oil change as the old oil (if not changed regularly) breaks down the seal and forms a seal. So changing of the oil removes that seal. And I am 70% sure it has started happening after I changed the oil. I've stopped driving it now. But could this also be the reason for poor power output as the engine is leaking pressure? Could someone give me an insight into this and what is happening. What is required, what parts are needed and can it be done by myself? Garrett BBT 2000 r34 GTT 87000km Any questions please ask. Thanks guys
  14. Hey guys just to let you know I have also suffered the PS leak now. What have you guys done to fix it?
  15. Thanks Callan. I guess I'll give the wiring a try. Cleaned AAC today. Was filthy as! Going to see how i go with the idle

  17. Hi all. So lately I've had a rough idle. So I've done the following from my searches on the forum spark plugs and coils (splitfire) cleaned AFM and pod cleaned throttle body Idle still the same. But yet to clean AAC But my main issue is when the turbo timer kicks in the idle drops to a bit over 500. My uneducated guess is the computer is trying to process that the key is our of the ignition (trying to reduce revs) and timer is trying to keep engine on (increase revs) so the revs are meeting in the middle and bouncing up and down? Also my exhaust sound has a slight bob bob bob bob sound don't know if that would be related? The idle doesn't sound healthy for the engine. Feels and sounds like the pistons are knocking side to side as the idle is that low. Let me know what you guys think and feel free to ask me questions if I've missed anything out. If possible I will try and get a video for you guys. This is my timer aswell. Some crap that came with it when it was imported.
