I have an rb25 r32 and its definitely a wicked project. depends what you really want. The gtr is a good idea in some respects. But I'm having more fun building the gtst than when I owned a gtr. You could even consider a silvia with an rb?

you can run GTRs in rwd.... and with a set of 2860-7s you can push 280 with no other mods. buy a cheap one that you see all the time these days , fix it up and 'build it' whack the 2860-7s or -5s in and your just about there power wise. 3 grand max for turbos + gaskets etc.

does anyone know what the go is with an rb25 into a 32 gtst?? trying to find out whether i can just fill out an engine transfer form at service SA and itll change the rego number and all is good or will regency be chasing after me if i do that?? and if i dont do anything about it im sure insurance wouldnt cover me in the event on a crash if they knew it was a bigger engine. any help appreciated.

The rb20 came out today. picking up the injectors Friday and posting them off as I sold them. decided to keep the 2860 on it for the time being hopefully may get around 230rwkw with it. so for an rb25 swap and full tune and all new fluids flushed etc the price is 2700. Pretty happy with that seeing as its a fresh rb25 new pistons ,metal head gasket etc... Hopefully the car will be ready next week. turbo tune will email me some photos soon so I will upload them when I can.

Good stuff mate Im doing the 25 in my 32 too.. might try the gtr reo bar as well if you think it made much of a difference
