  1. Great info here. That Ruzic controller seems to do it all and I especially love the digital display. My BNR32 is going to be 25 years old next year so I'm in the market to replace the old CPUs, G-sensors, etc. Has anyone tried the Full-Race controller? According to the website, it completely replaces the stock G-sensor and Full-Race was gracious enough to say that their product is microprocessor based twice. I like the idea of replacing my whole G-sensor and installing a TSC at the same time. Any insights on the product?
  2. Nice prices but why copy if the quality is so high? Why not just start making original seats and build a name? They have products in low to high range so I believe they can make their own footprint instead of copying one. My opinion but otherwise, good luck with sale.
  3. I understood you, brother. I was just saying like a FYI to make sure you're aware
  4. Nismo, make sure they only use titanium materials If you ever modify your pipes. Anyone know if Japan is the only place to get titanium exhaust components for the skyline? I would love to save money but I believe only the Japanese make Ti bits for Skylines
  5. I replied. Let me know if you wanna proceed with the purchase our not. :-D
  6. So, I finally got my AEM installed. Turns out that the solder that I had to splice the gauge directly into the corresponding wires. I also had to shave the wires down a little more because the stock solder tips were too thick for proper connection. BIG thanks for negativecamber so helping me figure it out. My gauge is working now but what sort of numbers should I be looking for? I went driving for about 15 minutes and the gaue went all over the place: 13.5 to 16.0 (for appx 3-4 seconds)... (BTW, I've been suspecting that my Mine's VX-ROM needs another tune)
  7. If they're at a good price then get them. The BNR34 seats are more comfortable from what I hear.
  8. I read the instructions. I'm sure it said "10-18" volts was ok... :-(
  9. So, I decided to use the front pipes as the install point: That solved that problem but now I don't know why my AEM gauge does not activate. Is there an on/off switch...? I found a solid ground and used the 12V from an 'accessory' wire that connects to the radio. I tried different wires, check with a multimeter but still couldn't get the gauge to turn on. I eventually hooked up my gauge to the car battery to see if the 12Vs from that would activate it... Is my gauge broken?
  10. FINALLY. I found some BNR34 Vspec outlet pipes from YAJ: Gentlemen, thank you for your insight. I love how passionate ya'll are about Skylines. Ian, thanks for the info. I'll have to buy the adapters you mentioned as well. Cheers.
  11. Yeah, not a lot is happening on GTR UK. Like walking into a bar and only seeing a bunch of dudes. I saw your reply to a familiar post so I figured you were the right individual to ask. Ironically, I also noticed that you put Oz as your location so I was hoping to touch bases with you here. When you said, "I used an adaptor from the 18x1.5mm to the 16x1.5mm that is the standard GTR EGT probe thread," you mean that my standard BNR32 O2 probes will not screw into the bung on the BNR34 Vspec dumps that I want to buy?
  12. ^^ Thanks for the reply. I sent you a PM on GTR UK as well, btw. Same question so no worries if you choose to ignore it. The BNR34 has two dump pipes (aka outlet pipes), which pipe contains the EGT sensor? Also, both dump pipes have an O2 sensor attached of them, right? Moreover, they are both relatively small so how can that long EGT sensor fit in there? I'm doing a MFD into my BNR32 so, at this point, I'm only interested in configuring my EGT like the BNR34 UK, N1, VSPEC EGT setup. I'll probably buy BNR34 N1 dumps since they should have the O2 sensor bungs and EGT bung. Does that sound reasonable so am I totally off? Apologies for all the questions.
  13. How many EGT sensors does the BNR34 run? And where exactly are they located? 22740 - AA300 I'm doing a MFD install on my GTR and I want to have to enable the EGT read-out. I want to say that only the Vspec and N1 have a EGT sensor(s) and the associated outlet pipes (with the bung to attach the sensor). I suppose I'll need those particular BNR34 outlets pipe(s) to install the sensor(s). Can someone confirm that?
  14. Good location of the intake air temp sensor:
  15. Sorry, mate. I didn't get much interest so I'm installing this on my GTR. If you want I can probably get you the harness and cover.
  16. Can you guys help me figure out the location and degree of the bung on the following ARC pipe? According to YAJ, it's a 3" Ti de-cat pipe but I don't know enough of the BNR32's exhaust anatomy to figure out if the bung will be in the correct location/position: The pipe flanges are in different positions from each other but that is normal according to the many other pictures I've seen of that particular pipe. The only concern I have is if the bung is facing 10degrees (or more) UP in order to meet the requirements of the BOSCH sensor I have. Is the bung setup to allow my sensor to be at 10degrees?
  17. ^^ Thanks, mate. I'm not sure who would think that but thanks for your post.
  18. You can try: GTR Garage Kunio Japanese in Iwakuni-shi http://www.gtr-garage.com/collections/r32-gtr?page=1 Great English. moderate speed on parts and very good cus service Feat Auto Group Adam Canadian in Yokohama http://www.feastautoexport.com/ decent cus service. pretty good prices. Quick speed RHD Japan Yokohama Not recommended Nengun f*kuoka Not recommended R-International Hara Japanese in Osaka http://r-international.co.jp/ So-so English but great cus service. A bit slow but best prices New Era Can't remember the person's name and can't remember if British or not. http://www.neweraimports.com/index.htm Good speed with decent cus service. Will go out of their way to get you parts. Prices could be better. JDMAutoLink EJ Malaysian in Malaysia http://jdmautolink.net/ Great English. Great cus service. Good prices. Not to sound racist but I've always gotten the best prices with Japanese companies vs gaikokujin. Most Japanese-owned businesses will take a bit longer to get parts because I think they use their networks (friends) to find the part at the best price. R-International, for example, has always given me the best prices even though it sometimes takes 1-2 weeks for items. Of course all the above can help you order from YAJ if you see something there.
  19. Thank you piggy. I've seen a lot of BNR34 outlet/dump/elbow pipes on YAJ. If there's no other beef with my potentially exhaust setup then I'll proceed on purchasing the parts. Btw, I'll probably ceramic coat the mani, turbo "hot side,"and dump pipes per hot engine Bays and hot track days. Any contraindications on ceramic coats?
  20. Lol. In my situation, I'm going for weight saving via exhaust, lighter wheels, rotors, etc. I'm not sure if there's a Ti exhaust that's affordable and 3.5". My theory about the BNR34 manifold is: If the BNR32 dumps are crap and the BNR34 are better then won't the BNR34 manifold be better than the BNR32 manifold...? is it a waste of money to but a BNR34 manifold?
  21. Ben, I hope you don't mind me asking on your thread but I want to get advice on my potential exhaust setup: I have a basically stock RB26 (R33) in my BNR32 with a R32 std mani, turbos, dumps, front pipe, cat, and 2.5" mine's cat-back. After reading this thread (all bullsheit aside), I'm thinking about upgrading to BNR34 std mani, BNR34 std dumps, 3" Titanium front (short design vs long pipes), ARC Ti 3" de-cat, and Mine's Ti 3" cat back. My BNR32 is a club racer so Response > WHP. Can I get this ya'll opinion on my setup before I enter my credit numerals into websites?
  22. I might have jammed it a little but I'm sure it would have straighten out when I tightened 4 screws again. I'll see if I can get it lose today.
  23. Glad I found this without having to make a new thread. I have a BNR34 fan for my 32-R. I want to replace the fan without taking too many thing off. I tried removing the 4 screws and taking off the fan but the little guy refused to come off. Now, I know that I also need to remove the rad shroud but any recommendations on how to remove the clutch fan? It seems to be stuck on the pully really well.
  24. Down pipe, mate. I think they're called "front pipes" in planet Oz. As for dump pipes, I have my eyes in the Tomei products. moreover, I'm interested in the AEM non weld bung now that I know something like that exist.
